Glad that you all are liking the additions. We really do want this to be a valuable point of interaction with Delta.

As for the Other Airline (I may abbreviate it OA) confirmation number / record locator, that is a bit of feedback I'll take back and see what it would take to get that in - both on web and on mobile applications.

Since I have seen this come up from time to time in regards to obtaining the OA confirmation number while talking to an agent, the one way I know of obtaining it is from the Deltamatic terminal window (green screen) the following way:

When the agent is viewing viewing your E-ticket Receipt in green screen, at the top they would see the OA record locator next to the DL record locator. From a green screen perspective it would be something like this (the headers for DL Record Locator and AF Record locator are not there, but the format is [Record Locator]/[Two Character Airline Code]):

Nice update. I can't think of any other app that is being developed as quickly as this one with new major features being added regularly. I use the app extensively on each and every trip on Delta.

The biggest problem I'm having with the app is frequent very slow response and lock-ups while "retrieving itinerary". It's not uncommon for me to have to go to the phone's Settings > Applications menu and do a Forced Stop. When I do, the newly restarted app works fine again.

Is this an issue that you're aware of an working on?

Where are you seeing this issue? Is this on the list of upcoming trips or is it on the detail of a particular trip?

If it is on the list of trips, that is one of the performance enhancements we are looking at for our next release.

If it is while viewing the details of particular trip, we'll have to dig into that. Are you coming back to the trip screen from a particular flow (such as coming back from an IROP rebooking, selecting seats, using the back button or refresh from the system menus)

I think this newest update brings some great improvements, my 2 cents:
Pro:
- View My Trips (VMT) consolidation (especially nice when I have lots of trips/segments)
- Traveling w Us Section is a big addition (Sky club locations are the biggest perk for me, bc i'll go through different airports and don't remember where they all are. Maps are also nice shortcut to search for nearby attractions/food/etc)

Con/Suggestions (I think all but the first 2 are fairly minor):
- VMT still loads slowly
- Check Flight Status should be able to pull from your VMTs to give suggested flight # (majority of people would be checking their own flight status's)
- It would be nice if VMT alternated colors between Trips, that is all blocks of the same trip had one color (I have 1 trip that is shown in 5 blocks, with no demarcation between the next trips blocks)
- Screen utilization in Calendar: only shows 2 weeks, could show ~5 on my phone (HTC Sensation)
- It would be nice if I could click on my Total Miles:#### and see the breakdown and postings (as you can on the website)


There will always be room for improvement, but I really think this was a big update and have always found the app to be useful, keep up the good work ^

Not sure what everything's called, but it usually happens when I'm moving around between upgrade list, seat map, and boarding pass. It's usually when loading the specific itinerary. I have been using the phone's [Back] button, and switching between apps by selecting the Delta app from the long-press-home list of recent apps.

I'm flying two legs this afternoon and will try to keep better notes.

Three issues:

First (and I haven't checked this on the current version, but it applied on the two previous, at least) when I try to check in from the app's main page it says "You can check in at {24 hours prior to the flight, some time in the past when I try}". When I pull up all my itineraries it will let me check in.

Second, is there a way to store the boarding pass on my phone so it's easily retrievable without checking in? If I've been using the phone for other stuff, it can take a relatively long time to get the boarding pass to display.

Third, if I check in online and have the boarding pass sent to the phone, it shows up too small to register. (Fortunately, I can expand the picture and it works.)

FWIW, you can retrieve the flight status of an active itinerary by opening your reservation and touching the flight number.

:eek: Thanks trek87, I'm not sure why I have never noticed that (been using Flight Stats Lite to check status). I'll have to try that and the other features out this weekend during flights.

Danny, when u look in delta fleet and click view seats, even though the icon key shows ec, it doesn't show it on the seat map. Not a huge problem, but thought you should know. Thanks again for the updates and looking foreword to the intl check in

That is correct, at this time the key in that seat map shows EC seats regardless of whether or not there are EC seats on that plane. The lie flat seats are also in the key for all seat maps.

Danny, im sorry I wasn't clearer, what I meant was that the seat chart doesn't show ec in some planes that have it, like the 747, for example. The key does show it, because, as u said, the key's the same for every airplane. Again, its not the end of the world, just thought u might like to know.

Issues with upgrade/standby list
 

I was on standby for two flights today. In both cases, my name didn't appear on the standby list within the app. However, it did appear on the standby list on delta.com.

Similarly, after I was confirmed on the second flight, it said "upgrade requested" on the app, but my name didn't appear on the app's upgrade list, but it did appear on the delta.com list.
