Use this phone number to check your application status as well. US Bank does not send you an approval/denial email. Many data points show 8-10 business days for decision is normal. Add another 2-3 weeks after that to receive physical card.

Why is the balance due on my business card always shown as $0?
There are TWO account numbers linked to your business card: The card itself, which shows up in the same website account as any personal cards you may have. This will always show a $0 balance due.
There is a SECOND account - labeled the "Central Bill Account" - with its own account number. You must set up a separate website account with its own username and password to access the Central Bill Account. This is the account that will actually show the balance due and let you schedule a payment. Somewhere in the paperwork you received with the card or the first paper invoice, you should be able to find the Central Bill Account's number.
Setting up separate website account for business card:
These are the instructions that US Bank emailed me:
To enroll in Online Banking for your U.S. Bank Business account, start by going to usbank.com. You do not need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to enroll.
Please follow these instructions to enroll in Online Banking to view or pay your account:
1. Click on the Enroll Now link on the right side of the screen.
2. Select the Business Accounts option.
3. View the Terms and Conditions and then select Enroll Now.
4. Select I do not have a U.S. Bank small business checking or savings account.
5. Select I am an authorized officer of a U.S. Bank Business Credit Card.
6. Complete Step 2 of 2.
Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to view your business account in its entirety. When you are making a payment you will need to select the Accounts Payable account number.

Has anyone with this card gotten an existing award reservation adjusted (to get the last night free) by calling, instead of canceling/re-booking? I have a 4 night stay in Paris in August and don't want to take the risk that I will cancel and then somehow no award rooms will be available to re-book.

New Data Point
Did my Feb. churn today, and here is another data point:
FYI: CreditBurea(inquiries in last 6 months): EQ(2) ,EX (7), TU(2) all 720+
Results:
1. US BANK: Instant approval for Business Club Carlson 85K, 1K credit line. When I called to expedite card, they said that there is still "final verification" but there should likely be no problem--classic US Bank.
2. AMEX: Instant approval 2x SPG 25K (1 personal, 1 business)
3. CHASE: Recon for 50K Ink Plus, Approved
4. BARCLAYS: 2x US Airways (1 personal, 1 business). Personal approved, Business declined. I called and too many recent accounts. I think I'm going to let that one rest.
Good luck to everyone else. After reading this thread, I was concerned about the Club Carlson card, so I made that the first card in the churn and, thankfully, got approved. With 400K+ miles from summer promo and now the signup bonus, this will make for a luxurious 2 weeks at 50K hotels for our summer vacation to Europe.

How long is your credit history for them to give only 1K? And do they ask you to "prove" that you have a proper business in the business application?

Credit Line
The business is quite new--sole prop for ~3, now a newly formed LLC. And you're right--I don't need it for the credit line. Need it for the 2-for-1.

Well, I got the terms and exactly one day later (as someone informed me here) the card did arrive. Bought a hamburger tonight and now I'm waiting on my 50K.
I will use this card to pay my taxes this year, and that should bring me close to the $2500.00 threshold for the next 35K.
All in all I'm very pleased so far. Only one minor comment/complaint/suggestion: it would be nice if the US Bank credit card website showed "pending charges" in real time, like their competitors.

I would love to hear the details of your itinerary for Europe & using the CC points. We are aiming for summer 2014 for Europe, so we're working on getting all of our ducks (points) in a row

My wife completed an "aor" yesterday with instant approval on the Chase United Mileage+, US Airways, and Citi AAdavantage. She is a stay at home mom and as you all know, Club Carlson asks about lone or joint application and she selected "lone" since I didn't want a credit inquiry. In the employment section she selected "unemployed" but listed my income which is much higher then an unemployed person would have. CC application went to pending review status.
She is high 700's, long credit history, and this his her second "aor" with all instant approvals on the first round. All cards paid off each month and first CC application.
Thoughts on her chances of approval with the "unemployed" status and how should she handle this in the future.

For me they pulled Equifax. Unfortunately, it seems that is what most pull in my area, therefore I did not get approved. My credit score is excellent and I always pay my bills on time. But...I have 8-10 pulls in the last 2 years. All on Equifax. I recently purchased a car and had 3 ridiculous pulls on my credit from that and then one from the cable company where we hooked the cable up for my daughter in college!! Other than that, I only have 3 CC's. And applied for 3 with this churn. Is there anyway to request or "encourage" them to pull from another credit bureau.

I applied for the Club Carlson Business program and they approved me. I've had a sole proprietorship that's my day job for the past 7 years, and I also have the Carlson Business Visa which might have helped.

I applied for the premier version of this card on Feb. 7th and received the 7-10 days pending decision message. I called today and was informed that I was approved for 8k limit. The agent told me that I was approved for the premier version. I had no inquiry within the last 6 months across all credit bureaus, 6 inquiries within 1 year: 5 are from Experian and 1 is from Equifax. Initially, I wanted to apply for this card in Dec last year, but after reading all the reports here I decided to wait until I had zero inquiry within the last 6 months. My wife was approved in Dec and already received her 85k bonus points. We're so happy that we can finally plan to stay at the Radisson Blu in Chicago in summer.
