I was watching a TV program last night where someone pronounced "supposedly" with the "b"

Good evening. We pulled everything together, got the maids through, and I am packed for a fun-filled week standing in a trade show booth in MCO. I will be happy to get on an airplane to get the EQM counter off 0. ^

Due to rollover my counter is most of the way to Gold re-qualification without taking a flight yet this year.

MCO this week and HNL next week will get me a good start towards AA PLT again. Then, I will wait for the spring promos (DEQM?).

If DEQM comes back, I'll most likely end up as SkyTeam USA Diamond.

I thought that you were constitutionally opposed to buying anything other than LUT fares.

I have pretty much settled on the fact that PLT on AA is satisfactory for me. I only sat in the back of the bus 3 times all of last year (2 LAX-SFO flights and 1 BOS-LAX MR), so I pretty much get what I need from my status.

Not a problem for a diamond at Hyatt Dulles. Hyatt Fair Lakes also had a very nice spread.

When I stay out there I prefer the Hyatt Reston. That Market Square Restaurant is pretty good and you can walk over to lots of other fairly good places.

I love it. The restaurant also had a better than expected selection for the breakfast buffet when I was there, even though I was the only customer with four staffers (this was 3 Jan).

SFOTerry is out there at Bouchon right now enjoying a Croque Madame. He has at least a couple of them every time he goes to Vegas, which is often.

I've stayed there a couple of times and also like the property and area. Only negative is the frequency of the airport shuttle (hourly) unless it has changed recently.

If you were judging policy debate, that was a very unfair thing for the tournament directors to make you do. As I recall, policy debate has all sorts of arcane rules, and the volume of arguments you deliver matters much more than your ability to speak well (hence the talking fast).

Other events (extemporaneous speaking, Lincoln-Douglas debate if it still exists) place a greater emphasis on delivery.

Asparagus?

Why do airlines insist on serving asparagus in C? I like asparagus as much as the next guy, but I don't necessarily want to need to use the facilities on an airplane after an asparagus-containing meal.

Ooh, that's a tough one. I would say "both".

I found that KOA B-fare last year for $600 that was actually the cheapest way to get to HI during 3.5 EQM last year. And I immediately used miles to upgrade my circuitous routing (e.g. involved stops in DTW, CVG, LAX).

I only sat in the back three times last year as well despite the vast majority of flights as a silver.

Hyatt Reston was more than twice as much when I was doing my FFN run in the D.C. area. As I lived right by Reston National Golf Course for 3 years, I would have liked to explore what's changed.

And I'm starting to smell the baby back ribs.

I did not know about that since I always have a car when I'm working there. And IAD nearby or not, I usually use DCA no matter where I need to be.

I really like the mussels and frites there.
