Yep. Those ads would have been on when you were quite young — probably too young to remember them.

What year would that be?

FT Lurker and I had great time at SFO Lounge hopping. We discovered LeeAnnigans last night at SFO. In total, we visited 8 lounges between IAH, IAD, and SFO.

We did get some Drink Chits from United at SFO!

:D^

ConciergeMike, Steph3n, and gbryan84 are among those who wouldn't know anything from my early childhood. colpuck is also in said group.

What about whole ribeye? I have 14lb! Just need a grill. So is the plan to hang out at The Hyatt, or just stay there?

I don't think Hyatt's the closest option but I appear to have a disposition which leads me to take advantage of Hyatt. I could also be convinced to seek a cheap HiltonHHonors hotel, as I could get a free night with two more stays (as well as BD miles).

So.. I ran into an interesting new series of website today...

Anyone else belong to the "Gilt" group? (yes, it's supposed to sound like Guilt)

It's a private sale website thingy.. mostly fashion/clothing but they occasionally venture into other stuff. All high end, RL Black Label, Helmut Lang, Eli Tahari for example (and that's just the current men's sale i browsed). It's a contract sample-sale sort of thing from what I've gather.

But, aside from clothes, it has a section/website called JetSetter that offers luxury and boutique getaways for what appears to be as good of a deal as the clothes.

Things like the Tabacon "Thermal spa" and resort in Costa Rica for $120 a night.

I dunno, still poking around, but all in all it seems like a good thing to be a part of. Each sale only last 72 hours and then it's gone, so it's kinda like a high-end Woot.com

Anyone else in the Box a member? If you need a referal I can provide (otherwise they waitlist you.. not sure how long that process takes.) Full disclosure, i'll get $25 store credit if you make a purchase after using my referal.

So, Gilt and Jetsetter anyone..? For some reason this seems like baglady territory. ;)

I'd be up for a referal. Can I earn points or miles (aside from my CC?) :)

I remember the term Krogering, only because I worked there starting the day after I turned 15 and ending the day after I turned 16 (was eligible for what I thought was a better job at :rolleyes:ffice Max making $6.50/hr over the kroger pay of $5.75/hr). Have you ever heard it called K. Roger?

:) My friend called it the K. Roger. I always got a smile out of that.

Speaking of referrals - the Costco referral promotion ended 31 December (at least that's what the promo card stated).

No - I didn't move to a Kroger-enabled state until 2006.
