As is the case in PHL - for me, the usual lack of a need to pay for parking, the much shorter drive when staging from the fiancee's house, and the lower fares are more than worth the RJ to CLE or the layover in IAH. I have not yet experienced the Awesomeness of the Q200 to EWR, though I did have that segment booked for Christmas Day and have since cancelled it.

You value your (comparative) sanity at less than $500?

When looking at direct flights from CLE for $900 or getting up at 03:30 to make sure I have enough time to catch a 06:50 flight from CAK, I will suck it up and ride US. 4 short segments, of which 2 will be on the E70.

One of the downsides for owning a startup company is being extremely price conscious!

The experience from employee to employer changes your price elasticity of demand. My students are starting to "get it" in managerial economics.

Thanks, :ualpuck:, and that is not entirely true. I do consume whiskey, but very rarely and more often than not in the form of the mixed shot that sbm12 despised and CO 1E barely tolerated at the Hibachi Do.

But wouldn't a "vodka shot glass be full" be a kinder sentiment?

And I'm nauseous at the concept of a mixed shot involving whiskey.

You know what surprisingly mixes pretty well with vodka and/or champagne is pomegranate juice. Each is quite a refreshing combination especially if served ice cold. As with all things that are a matter of taste, reasonable people can and will likely differ.

Had to de-ice at GEG this morning. And thus ended my last trip to GEG/Coeur d'Alene for the foreseeable future. I think Coeur d'Alene would make an excellent Box DO venue at some point in the future.

It really is good...very sweet, but good. Full shot Crown Royal, full shot peach schnapps, dash of lime juice. Shake with ice, strain and serve. The peach and lime kills the whiskey taste, making it taste fruity while being dangerously potent.

Just saw the BA 772 on its way into PHL.

I'm pretty sure I've drunk my body-weight in Pomegranate Martinis aboard US in the past few months. When they ran out of gin, I found the Finlandia Vodka quite agreeable when mixed with the Stirring's Pom Mix.

I'm up for that, considering ID is one of two states I haven't visited.

It's absolutely beautiful. I'm running out of new lines for getting to GEG, so think I might try BOI-GEG on AS, just to mix things up. :D

That didn't help my perception, and I recently eliminated drinks with sugar added from my diet. This restriction includes traditional PowerAde, so I have to forgo some MyCokeRewards points.

I would have to break off the PDX-GEG with a stopover in PDX - that would cover my last two states.

I look forward to attending my first/the next Box DO wherever and whenever that may be!^^
