I had to miss the CO/Star webcast this morning as well.

The jet unveil was IMO the best thing about it. The speeches by Albrecht and Tilton were meh, and while Larry and Jeff weren't boring, it's not like they turned in Oscar winners either.

+1. This always gives me problems in newer hotels with ultra-quiet HVAC systems.

My pet peeves with hotel rooms are (1) a bathroom fan that is wired to go on with the light, and (2) a noisy bathroom fan. Especially the latter; to me, it just says "flophouse," regardless of the rest of the ambiance.

Any chance of them releasing seats on the 345s?

Those will be the last to be released because there are other flights on those routes
So they would free up JFK-FRA-SIN before EWR-SIN and the same with
LAX-NRT-SIN vs LAX-SIN

It would be cool to ride on the first one delivered.

I've ridden on the third one delivered to UA recently. It's only about 6 weeks younger than the oldest one.

How many does UA still have in their fleet? I got mine on EK doing the DXB-CMB-MLE-CMB-DXB routing.

19 of the 52 777s at UA are 777-200s. The rest are 777-200ERs.

Another thread about the new OnePass cards? Are these people serious?

And I like the 752, especially CO's, which aren't nearly as old and ratty as some of the ones flying with other airlines (certain former alliance partners who shall not be named…).

Oh, I will name of of them! My DL experience from LAX - LIH will live as one of my worst set of flights in my life. I have never been so damn uncomfortable on a flight and simply dreaded the flight home, which was worse as we had a 2 hour delay. :td::td:

I couldn't help myself. :o

EZE-JNB availability seems to be much easier to find than JNB-EZE.

Watching the replay online now. There was a noticeable drop in applause when Doug Parker of US was introduced. I had to laugh out loud!

I think I'll go and post how much I like the little key chain version they sent along. It's just the size of my King Sooper's key chain card, and makes it so much more convenient.

On second though, maybe not.

Frustration: being thrilled over something that you can't explicitly mention.

US domestic F connections galore!

This is going to be great for confirming F awards and then w/listing for the CO metal ones you want.

US? I did fly a HP 757 back in 2001. One of the nastiest planes inside I've ever set foot in — ranked up there with the older NW 752s that smell like a locker room.

UA's aren't that bad. The ones I've flown on recently have been pretty cleaned up, and many of them have new carpet and seat covers.
