You can combine as many certs as you like. Whether in EUR or $, they convert the certs at the prevailing exchange rate into the currency that the hotel stay has been billed in.

That's why they pay you the big bucks. ;)

Sorry to hear. I did get to meet a CC mod in Lexington over the weekend.

Sadly, you're likely right. I wanted to try and do shorthand for an entire 140 characters just to illustrate the stupidity of it, but I thought to myself that doing so would likely cause a few brain cells to commit suicide in protest.

Commissioner Gordon called. He thanks you for your support. ^

Still coming down steadily; hope COFreqFlyer gets off the ground soon.

Thank you J.Edward for the AA miles!!!

I just constructed probably the most lucrative Oneworld reward ever (in Business).

JFK-YYZ on LAN
YYZ-LHR on BA
LHR-CDG on BA
ORY-MAD-BCN on IB
BCN-MAD-BOS on IB
BOS-LGA on AA

Total miles traveled came out to 8973, just 27 miles shy of needing another 10k miles to redeem for the reward. So this all cost 80k miles and $240 in taxes and fees each ^

Looks like a couple of IAH - AUS and IAH - SAT segments were canceled this morning too.

I'm a little puzzled by that. The wind is almost straight down the runway at AUS, gusting some, but nothing really dangerous, I would think, and the visibility has not been bad. Maybe it's shear risk.

Likely visibility limits at all three airports. It was under a half mile at IAH earlier.

Ehh? Do they operate this to shuttle an aircraft between the two cities?

I am guessing it had more to do with the ground stop at IAH than it did with conditions at AUS and SAT.

Today's good ol ^^ goes to gbryan84. The OW awards are just phenomenal values IHMO (and were even better when you did not get charged for a "connection"). Well done!:-:

When all the cattle are in one pen, it gets pretty deep underfoot, but at least it isn't spread all over everywhere.
