So far we've got 3 145s, two -800s, and a -900ER on the ground here in SAT now...

My mom said it was storming out NW of GRK, that is the cause there now for IAH or what?

I wonder if they'll even fly... IIRC, neither team uses a charter flight when playing in the other city during the regular season.

I would have been more excited about a Yankees / Dodgers World Series, but I'm just glad to have the Yankees in there. ^

I doubt they'll fly. I know the Devils will not fly for the Flyers, but will fly for the Bruins.

The Devils have been without their logo 727 - they were on an AC A320 for the flight home from PIT the other night.

It has gotten so bad that CO is tweeting about the weather.

Now the question is whether or not it will accomplish the mission of concentrating all of the stupidity in one easily avoidable place.

It looks like he is herding all the sheep toward that thread. Maybe he would make a good GA. ;)

I had planned on doing a "master" thread and it seems that it was a good idea.

Yeah, I stand corrected. The front hit warmer air the further south it went and the storms intensified. IAH is below minimums right now, hence the ground stop. There are several flights at AUS as well I believe.

Yep, edge of the front is hitting IAH now. But it is still raining hard up here in Cedar Park so the rain will not let up at IAH for some time. It's going to be a tough day of flying with minimums.

Ground stop was just lifted for IAH, but we have no departure time yet. And another 145 just joined us here.

There's a giant red blob over Houston.

Steph3n Oct 26, 2009 9:26 am

Looks like a couple of IAH - AUS and IAH - SAT segments were canceled this morning too.
