So Texas is starting true-freshmen safeties. Normally I would be concerned but last year UT was 106 in Pass D, so there is nowhere to go but up.

Have to interject here - my daughter (I was raised in Nebraska so everything was Go Big Red - whatever) learned Hook 'Em Horns at about 1 1/2 - I'm not even sure where. Yesterday, some guy was trying to teach her I love you in sign language. She just kept doing Index and Pinky and saying "Hook 'em horns" back to him. She didn't get it from us - MR BL grew up in SO Cal and between growing up in NE and going to school in GA, Texas was a bit off the map for us. If you ask her where she's going to college, she'll tell you Rice - smart girl :)

As for your daughter, learning to cheer for one team while getting education at a better school is a great trait. Better to stay affiliated/attached to a school with a decent sports program one way or another. Otherwise how would she be able to take sides in a random Box debate. Cheering for Rice is about as useful as cheering for Cornell. :p |

P.S. As for me. I root for the 'Canes (born in Miami and raised in south Florida). I believe they put a thrashing on the Cornhuskers in 2002 in a certain Rose Bowl game. ;) |
I hate job searches! I'm far too picky and the current job market in the areas I am looking at leaves much to be desired.

Congrats on the '99 National Championship. I was in Tempe to watch the Gators get thrashed by the 'Huskers and it wasn't pretty.

When she gets older, I'll teach her the Ramblin Wreck from Ga Tech song ;). And yes, I care far more for her education. |

Does anyone remember who operated the Continental Express ATR-42 flights between EWR-PHL in the mid-late 90s?
