Congrats. I don't have any CR2 flights scheduled the rest of this year and hope to keep it that way. Not sure I'll be on any ERJs the rest of the year either.

Full time job?! They still make those?!

Yep, I'm working on mine right now. This business of carrying a much larger than normal client load is good for my bonus, but not for sleep or enjoying my Sunday afternoon. Looks like this is going to be another week where I bill out 60+ hours.

I've noticed full professors still do the brown cordaroy or tweed with elbow patches jackets.

Agreed. During the height of that stupidity I walked out of more than one restaurant after seeing that on the menu. The first time was a place that involved counter service, and nobody noticed. The second was a full service restaurant, and the waitress had already been by and brought me my drink. I paid her for that and said until they brought back either "fries" or "French fries" I wouldn't be dining there again. I don't think I ever went back to that place. Damn shame, too, as they had outstanding garlic fries.

Anyone here have experience using Google Apps for email? More specifically, how well it works directly with a BlackBerry? I am considering moving from a hosted exchange solution but do not want to bother if there is a performance loss in getting my emails and such.

Good morning, Box.

I had a few too may caphiranas (sp?) last night :D

Had great fun at my "surprise" birthday party! One of the hilarious things was that my friend sent a towncar to pick us up. We then went on a "magical mystery tour" and drove all around the area before we actually got the the party house!. We were in the car for about25 minutes, driving here there and everywhere, passing lots of restaurants and slowing down to a stop in front to make us think that was where the party was. Eventually turned up at another friend's house (gorgeous victorian mansion) where the party was. Laugher factor was high - her house is literally 5 minutes walk from mine!!! So the ride over was fun. The towncar driver was laughing along with us - he thought it was great fun teasing us!

The party was great. We had fantastic food, drinks, etc. Played a really cool game of "guess who". My friend had asked us lots of "fun facts" about ourselves and then posted questions on flip charts all around the house. Silly questions like: "who wrestled and alligator and a kangaroo in the Australian outback" and "who was bitten by a lemon meringue pie and a crazed cucumber as a child and now won't eat either" or "who threw themselves off an express train in India because he/she missed his/her stop" . Guests had to "guess who" that question pertained to, log it on a sheet, and the winner at the end won a gift certificate to a local restaurant.

My friend worked really hard to make this party fun - and it was!

I did drink a few too many of those Brazilian caphiranas though ...... :p

Wow -sounds like it was a blast!^:-:

Just because some of them still do that, doesn't mean they, or anyone else, should.

Still a bit chilly here in the hublette, but we finally can see the glowing orb in the sky after a couple weeks of rainy blah.
