Stupid AC availability for YVR-SYD disappeared today (the day I planned to book). Ended up booking LAX-ICN-SYD on OZ, instead. I only got charged 17 Pounds in Taxes/Fees, which is incredible, considering it's a BD mileage ticket. :D

I noticed there are a couple of TK 773 frequencies (Fridays, for example) on ORD-IST in November.

Upon further review, apparently no kid inside.

So just a run away hot air balloon? They get to shoot it down? :)

I could stay in SYD for a day or two. My main purpose is to get out to Exmouth, on the Northwest coast, but I could definitely do a day or two in SYD.

ETA - Scheduled to arrive in SYD at 08:00 on Monday the 15th.

If I take the SQ SFO-ICN flight, I can probably make the connection to ICN-SYD (arrive 18:40 on SQ depart OZ at 19:50 )

Marry someone who is as worldly and travel-obsessed. Works well. I'm the travel-savvy one, however. And at the moment the only one with an income. It's also a little painful to realize how many additional trips I could have taken if I weren't usually booking (cash or miles) for two. But there are positive trade-offs to that too, of course.

When are you going again? I still need to populate the southern hemisphere. :)

Arrival into SYD on 03/15. I'll have to just purchase a SYD-PER, and intend to come back PER-BKK-LAX.

If I win the *A trip from Randy and it is not in a post that I've quoted someone else I need to find a worthy recipient. I'll pick (randomly) from the group here that is interested. Who wants in? Post or PM is acceptable.

I know that Brit is offline now but she's in the pool. sfogate is, too, as I know she actually wants to go. Who else?

As the newest member of the box, I would like to be considered! I will even swap seats with you and let you ride up in biz (that is, if you are booked in coach)!!

The thread is still locked. I'm guessing that the winner is not online at this time or has not been able to confirm they could accept it yet.

Either that or he really is reading all 101,967 posts.
