OZ or NZ? I don't know about Y. Obvously AC and NZ have a better C product than OZ as far as privacy goes. For me, the meals on the two OZ long-haul flights did not impress me nor my wife. The SYD-ICN segment was unbearably warm despite asking crew if the temperature could be reduced.

In contrast, the outbound LAX-AKL-SYD segments were fantastic.

How about drink vouchers on either CO or VX? :D

Much more effective. And lighter, too. :D

Plenty of time to head into town then grab a ride on the bullet train. And the train is pretty cheap.

Is there anything of interest at any of the Bullet Train's stops?

I flew OZ the reverse of that. Just not impressed. When are you going? Could you not find NZ availability from LAX, SFO or YVR?

In J or F? I've got JFK-ICN in F booked for May (I think...definitely some time next year) and I was pretty excited about it, despite the 12:30am JFK departure.

I also decided to have a few photos taken for mom while I was traveling in East TN. I've really lost weight - the shirt in the black/white photo is the very same as the photo that made me realize I needed to diet.

Very nice pic! You look great!

PLUS ONE. PLUS FREAKING ONE. I lived in Louisiana for 2 years and I'd still take it over the other extreme.

I do enjoy a couple of things about fall, though. Football, obviously. And pumpkins. Pumpkin anything: pie, muffins, soup, etc., etc.

So needless to say, the following article just made me drool: http://www.boston.com/ae/restaurants/gallery/pumpkin/
Pumpkin whoopie pies. Amazing. :D Gotta find some of that in NYC/NJ. Do we have any BOS-based Boxers? I'm blanking out...

OZ only has J on its 777s that do SYD-ICN. Their new F is supposed to be superb.

My bladder held a teacup before and even worse after. I must always have an aisle ;)

I dunno. I rode about an hour away, got off and bought a return ticket back.

I may have to see if I can make it to a ski resort in that 12-hour span.
