Yes. I went jogging yesterday. It was decidedly unpleasant, even at dusk.

I felt like I was in the pit last night up here, heavy mist in the air, hot hot, today it is ^ really nice out.

I can't wait till next week now that I am well, renewed aircraft boarding procedures get to be initiated.

So it's about a half hour to the close of the PWP thread. When will Randy announce the winner?

I spoke last night to .Edward, and he indicated Black Lab as his preference as Chauffeur and general all-around . I swear to God it wasn't me that picked. I actually told him to pick, as I didn't want to be responsible for the choice this time around.

That's fine with me. I can go wherever.

I was really enjoying the 55 degree days we had last week and long for their return.

It appears I was premature in bringing my jacket to work this morning. Looks like the front won't roll through until later this evening, now.

It is still nasty outside here in East Texas. I'm sick of this humid mess. And it looks like southern California is starting up a heat wave just in time for my arrival there next week.

I so miss my old assignments in Minnesota and Colorado right now.

Yeah, it was really lovely. I don't mind the rain either. I enjoy sitting on the porch as storms roll through.

There's a distinct difference between light, misty, lingering cold-front rain, and summer thunderstorms that try to drown you in the distance between your front door and the car.

DFW is at 61 right now, sigh. When will we get this time travel crap we've been hearing about? Geez.

Mackieman Oct 15, 2009 11:36 am

Hopefully I can catch the front as it moves through. Little in life is as rewarding as feeling the air go from god awful to heavenly in the expanse of half an hour.
