How?! I made the reservation with my account so the only way for the number to get dropped is for someone to drop it. My gut instinct is that they dropped my number when they walked me and they're going to use it as a sticking point when I ask for the guarantee.

Do you have an email confirmation or something with your # on it?

Sure, they're all just numbers scrolling by on the great post count of life, but some numbers are more  than others.

Happy 28,000 to me.

Congrats

Bio break #2 since 845 this morning...neither of them for me. I hope my bladder of steel continues at least into my 30s.

I have the wall charger, car charger, can charge with the micro-USB cable, and have a 12-volt car adapter to charge the laptop to charge the phone in the worst case. I have no excuse if my battery were to be drained.

Think of it this way — you've got an extra day to prepare.

That was my immediate thought - will be even more polished.

Marriott reservation emails don't include the number...

That's easy. Keep on escalating your complaint until they fulfill the guarantee if for nothing else just to make you go away.

Repeatedly ask out loud how your number could disappear, and loudly announce that you can't miss Wapner.

How was the reservation made? Marriott.com? Or, since you're at a conference, was it made through a conference booking engine? I had a similar drop of my loyalty program number once by the travel agency booking the hotels for a conference.

Can't make that one - have the trip to visit new nephew in BOS in November.

I just checked three of my recent ones. It is there, but it's way down at the bottom — below the reservation information, and just above the "Travel Alerts" heading. There's a section there that says "Marriott Rewards" and the information is there. Do you see that on your e-mail? Mine shows my elite level and MR number.

SPG whores, any recommendation on SPG hotels in downtown San Francisco? I'll be there next spring for a conference and they all appear to be available through our conference hotel block.

Aha! I never scroll to the bottom... Good to know I have proof though.

The res was made through Marriott.com and the rate was actually cheaper than what the conference rate was ;)

Morning, Box. Sorry for the premature excitement - apparently, the NYT column that I'm in runs SUNDAYS, not Thursday. I guess I could have checked that out rather than just trusting what the photo editor said. :p Don't worry, you will all get the link when the time comes...and I'll be chasing down a copy of the paper somewhere in ATL that day.

Short version: Nov 12, 13, 15 or 17. SuperG1955 and myself at a minimum, somewhere in Central/Northern NJ. Pricing timing and all relevant stuff TBD as of now. I will bring my .22 auto if we have any novices that would like to join us. More detail to follow.

15th during the afternoon, pleasepleaseplease! (13th would be my non-close second choice). It's a shame tjtenor4 doesn't get into PHL till midnight on the 17th - he would have been all over this!
