How strict is the W hotel store with the employee discount code? We may order a bed and 40% off makes it cheaper than any piece of crap I could get at the mattress stores and that bed is not a piece of crap.

I'm not convinced that FT is the target; I'm thinking that sites using vBulletin are more the target. vBulletin is a piece and it sounds like vulnerabilities are being exploited, like the admin redirect we had this morning. I would not be surprised if that group was simply doing it for training purposes.

i am not convinced vBulletin is the target, I think internet Brands sites are the target. IB owns VB, so there is a correlation there.

A lot of chains do indeed now have great beds.
In other news from tonight's news, I knew Thanksgiving air travel has dropped but I didn't know it's down 62% from 2000 yet it seems all other forms of transport are up. That would explain why EWR parking was so empty last year on the morning after turkey day when in the past the lots were full. |

Some (full Hiltons, Westons, DT's) seem to have reverted back to barely comfortable beds in the past couple of years.

I found out, through my powers of pattern recognition and people-reading, that I am getting a Wii for Christmas. This is ideal, as the fiancee will have an apartment by then. Recommendations on what to get, anyone? I know I want Tiger Woods and Fit Plus, but that's really all I know about the system as a whole.

Ive never slept in a W bed but imagine it is a lot like the Westin bed? ALCO or ssullivan? Regardless, $1,100 for a pillow top mattress/box spring shipped (no tax if shipped to NJ) is hard to say no to.

btw dan14whatever ;) glad to see you back around, have you completedyour move to the not quite so festering now pit?

330$ is a bit much to go to DFW for the big XII game.

The W beds are reasonably similar to the Westin beds. They're comfortable when new, but they both seem to start sagging after what I would guess (based on age of hotel) to be about 5 or 6 years - far too early, IMO.

This is one of the best mattresses around. I really like it a lot, it isn't what I have at home, but what I will likely get when I buy another. I have an all memory foam one now, it is decent but CAN be a bit warm during the summer. This is also the matress that the Don Shula Resort uses. |
