Stop joking. It's just as festering as it ever was.

ah I thought you needed 2 rooms.
you just need 2 beds-one for you and Mrs. xyzzy and 1 for the xyzzyletes.

I've never had a problem requesting bed type, via the hotel direct, once I've won a PL bid.

I'd jump all over 89 at the W for 1 room. Can you points and cash, maybe bring it down even more

This is one of the best mattresses around.

I really like it a lot, it isn't what I have at home, but what I will likely get when I buy another. I have an all memory foam one now, it is decent but CAN be a bit warm during the summer.

This is also the matress that the Don Shula Resort uses.

I do have a budget ;)

CM, its the same promo code thats floating around FT and SD.net

You don't want to look at WN then ...

Yes I have....still getting used to things, however.

The W beds are reasonably similar to the Westin beds. They're comfortable when new, but they both seem to start sagging after what I would guess (based on age of hotel) to be about 5 or 6 years - far too early, IMO.

I would hope they offer some type of warranty for this that lasts 10 years or so?

From what I've read, mattress warranties are just about as useful as tire warranties. ;)

My wife and I recently purchased a Sterns & Foster king mattress from their "Estate Innerspring" collection; I can highly recommend it. IIRC, we paid about $1600 at a local mattress store. The Simmons Beautyrest that Steph3n linked to is also a great mattress. I don' know what the specs are on the W mattress, but if it doesn't have individually wrapped coils, I wouldn't even give it consideration regardless of the price.

Recommendations on what to get, anyone? I know I want Tiger Woods and Fit Plus, but that's really all I know about the system as a whole.

Got my wife a Wii for Christmas as well. And, as usual, she figured out what I got her yesterday. Can't keep anything from that woman. In any event, Wii Sports is always a good time and the new Mario game just came out.

Ribeye, broccolli, carrots, and Kraft Dinner this evening.

Hey tire warranties can be good, my dad got a prorated refund on a toyo tire of $78 after mileage reduction, for some belt that broke within the tire making it have a knot, it was only a little bit to replace it with a new one. And since it was under warranty the tire shop did the mount/balance free.

I agree about wrapped coils, if you go with a spring mattress it needs isolated coils, no doubt!

Now that she knows does she get to start playing with it now? :)

From a mattress standpoint -- yes, very similar.
