Thanks, CM - found it!^ I already have a personal & business a/cs at Chase, but I guess I could close those & open new ones. I just hate the monthly fees that Chase charges.

Add a little laundry bleach when all is back together to kill any nasties that might be growing.

Yep, already done it. Poured a bunch of bleach into the pan a few hours ago when I first took it all apart and had it dripping into a bucket.

Just finished putting it back together after flushing the drain pipes, and shortening them so that the pipe angles down toward the drain better. Before it was almost level before making an almost 90° turn down to the drain. I'm hoping the new angle will allow water to drain faster, and help prevent the nasty buildup of gunk in the pipe I blew out earlier.

There's a reason people call it Whole Paycheck.

Yeah, but we do most of our grocery shopping there, and most of what we find at Whole Foods is of far, far better quality than the cheaper stuff at the Kroger by our place. We also mostly buy organic as much as possible, and it's hard to do that at other stores.

Their corporate HQ in downtown Austin is quite impressive. I still prefer Central Market though.

I really, really miss Central Market. Whole Foods is great, but Central Market does blow them away in some areas.

For the record, I really hate Lowe's. I just looked at my receipt and realized that they charged me nearly double what the Ace Hardware I prefer to go to charges for a couple of items I picked up today. Not only that, but it's a lot harder to find anything in that store, and the employees there are generally clueless about everything.

Actually, those are my feelings toward Home Depot, and the local Ace is only interested in selling hunting/fishing supplies.*

* I'm not kidding.

People just can't contain themselves in those types of threads, which means it will eventually be closed or shipped off to omni.

There are a number of FTers who go out of their way to find such threads specifically to cause problems. You're seeing it live in action right now. Good times.

You don't say ... At least that doesn't happen in the forums you moderate. :p

If anyone was wondering, I'm pretty much over it

I drove around the area of my new home and found the nearest Best Buy (which is admittedly the devil but there aren't many options since Circuit City closed) and a Pier 1 Imports too.

Ok, so dumb question.. This is my first apartment, always lived in houses, where exactly it outbound mail supposed to go...? Do I need to drive around and find one of those blue boxes? It never occurred to me that inbound/outbound wouldn't be in the same location.

Yep, you need to find a 'blue box' -- otherwise it won't actually get mailed!

Some of the mailbox banks do have an outbound mail slot (e.g. my place in VA). In Maryland, I would see people wedge mail in the edge of the mailbox banks (seriously ). Personally, I would see if there's a dropbox on your route to work or at the office; the only thing that gets mailed out of my actual mailbox are stock proxy statements.

Every apartment or condo building I've ever lived in has had an outbound mail drop next to the mailboxes. Look at your mailboxes — I'd be shocked if there's not one there.

I was going to say -- YMMV -- it all depends on the employees at each actual location -- that is definitely my experience w/HD & Lowe's.;):-:
