It is scary that I can buy 40 ATR-72s each real day, if I want to. Surprising to me, the 56 Dash-8 is a profit monster too, I have tried it in 3 markets as I get jet replacements and in all but one it out performs the jets in daily profits. (this was 50 seat CRJs of note, so 6 less seats, but more routes, not more frequency) |

That was a fun brunch! I missed the chance, though, to put many faces to the avatars. :( |

I just got a 3-Day EUA for the god-awful 5:45 am flight out of LGA. :D
It's booked 5/20 now, so I hope the s/o gets the 1-Day EUA as a silver or a gold companion if the silver upgrade dosnt come through. |

I wonder how often planes divert to PIE from TPA - it's only 10miles.

Morning Box,
We had a freaking awesome set of thunderstorms roll through DFW last night - high winds, hail, torrential rain. I guess that's what they mean by a Texas thunderstorm. Awesome view out of my hotel room. Other than that, nothing fun to report. |

Well, it certainly makes it a very different game. After spending my whole Memorial Day in AM2.0, my problem is no longer money. It's time to set up my routes and hubs. :D
It is scary that I can buy 40 ATR-72s each real day, if I want to. But I do find it fun to have unlimited hubs. I actually am learning a lot more on airports and geography in all kinds of interesting places. That alone is worth the time I'm spending. Oh, and for anyone wondering, Moscow is not a good place to start a hub. |

If you're around at all and looking for a beer (or any other drink) over the next 10 days or so let me know. It doesn't need to be an official mini-do to get together.
When do you leave? We're passing through this afternoon and will be at the airport or around (got a rental car) for a few hours. If you're only here a few hours ayway. I am mostly done with the work I needed to do urgently here. I am at my business location about 9 blocks from the airport, a bit more than that to the entrance... |
