You know, I had no clue about this... interesting.

I cannot prove it, but only really because I've never tried. I think that some of the guys who have more data (a la FareCompare) have tracked it better than I could anyways. Then again, that guy likes to be quoted for saying things like the $140 EWR-BZE fare on AA was an indication of the market conditions rather than a signal from AA to CO.

Because the exertion involved in standing there for five hours and the horrors of sitting in the dugout and occasionally scratching oneself is too much to bear this early in the season: they had to schedule a day off. :p

I believe NYY scheduled a day off tomorrow, too. I think that they didn't want to start the season too far behind in the schedule in case of weather, and they had plenty this year. Games canceled in CHI for snow and BOS for rain. Awesome.

I hate being in a  limbo of my own making.

The day off after the season opener is pretty typical. I believe it is due to a combination of bad weather avoidance an TV broadcasting contracts.

Thank you both for injecting reality into my apparently not sarcastic enough commentary on the molasses pace of baseball. :p

As I look out the window, across the nice green grass and the flowering trees, the sky looks like snow.:td:

We had a cold front blow through last night. Only made the mid-60s today.

If I see any snow fall here tonight, I'm moving south in the morning.

Of course I drew the secondary. The guy was pissed that I made him change.

The bevy of cute and young fas working the flight will make up for it.
