There is a building in NYC with a range in the basement. They do "intro" classes and let you shoot .22 rifles. That is the only shooting I've done. And there is a strip club upstairs.

I showed a friend to shoot going with a 44 mag first then .45, 40S&W, 9mm and finally a 22. The 22 was extremely fun to shoot with after that :D.
