There is a building in NYC with a range in the basement. They do "intro" classes and let you shoot .22 rifles. That is the only shooting I've done. And there is a strip club upstairs.

It is super classy.

The range or the club???????

Sign me up. I've always wanted to learn to shoot.

I started learning in CO a couple weeks ago - did the best with the .22 rifle, and the .22 handgun was ok as well. The 10mm Glock was NOT my friend (ouch), though all the guys seemed to think it was the coolest thing ever...

10mm is a tough round to shoot IMO. I remember when it was introduced and shortly thereafter the 40S&W which was much easier to shoot with.

I showed a friend to shoot going with a 44 mag first then .45, 40S&W, 9mm and finally a 22. The 22 was extremely fun to shoot with after that :D.

Otherwise known to the 10mm stalwarts out there as the ".40 Short and Weak".

I just found a video of Byron Ferguson extinguishing a burning candle via his signature bow and arrow. He's just a freak of nature.
