Question for the BOX or CM for that matter. How long is a regular Hockey Game. I may get a chance to go to one this weekend but have to fiqure out if worth the trip? Houston Aeros

My previous post got lost as a sacrifice to the server  gods, I guess. I would budget 2 1/2 hours for a game assuming no overtime and not being televised. Pick up a program, as all good game programs will have a beginner's explanation of stuff...like what the ref's hand signals mean, why the whistle is blown when it does, etc.

Fix that by deploying the Mascara Warriors.

I was in Ireland in the 90s when the Troubles were pretty bad, and really did not have any issues.

It was snowing while I was there on Saturday night. It only took them (well, 1 guy in 1 truck!) about 30 minutes to deice the plane.

CM, Thanks. This will be my first game if I go. Got to see if I can get all the details worked out

That is good. I just looked online and it seems that the weather will clear up later this week. Dont want to get caught up in the snow in SEA!

I am sure you will be fine. This incident is probably an underground IRA group (as I think all of the IRA went to ground) and it's more than likely an settlement between two IRA groups or the pizza boys were "talking". The IRA fight is not with the tourist.

Yup, Plat on DL earns you an extra dose of , that is all. I go to Crystal City and I don't live in Manhattan, so flying is a heck of a lot easier than the train on normal days (and by normal day, I figure an hour delay).

This was my first time taking CO on the DCA - EWR route and I'm going to seriously think twice before doing it again. Even with my sub $100 fare. The trip down was fine, but I missed the flexibility of the shuttle, the simplicity of the Marine Air Terminal, and the relative consistency that they run the shuttle op.

To pour salt on the wounds of the folks on my flight, they weren't ready for us when we landed at EWR so we sat there, waiting 15 min. for a GA to pull up the jetway. One guy, who was trying to connect to a flight to Oslo almost jumped off the plane.

The flight crew was really great, but EWR just isn't worth it on these short hops for me.

Also, I think my pilot was German. Instead of flying circles over PHL, we were doing pretzels.

The Pound Puppy from Hell strikes again

The cost of a replacement lamp plug for the one bitten off: $5.00
The cost to remove ingested (Zoloft) medicine: $300.00
The cost of having a drugged (Zoloft) dog : Priceless

The dog is fine but what a peaceful and quiet evening we had. :D
The lamp is now trashed.
The remaining pills were wiped clean and now are stored even higher up.
