When did CO change their online boarding passes to include ads?

fwiw, when you check in on the pda, you get the old boarding pass pdf with no ads.

Do they print out with the boarding pass? If memory serves, my passes for both AA and DL flights a couple of months ago had ads but did not print them on the boarding pass itself.

actually they all do now via sojourn or whatever, but you can print it without.

Must be only for non elites my boarding passes never show them, but I do remember the press release about the ads.

Just flew U.S. Airways.

It honestly appears to have the potential to be a decent airline. All that is two things. First, the people working need to care about the airline. Second the "ala carte" business model needs to go.

When you check in online and they display your broading pass for printing, the boarding pass has the ad's, but when you select email broading pass, that one has no ad's.

I do not like the ad's.

On one boarding pass I have ad's to Sojern.com, Sierra Trading Post, REI.com, eWatches.com, Jamster.com and Events and Attractions in Las Vegas with restaurant recommendations.

It once was a decent airline.

They should also work on their F service. Seat pitch up there really sucks, meals are non-existent on most flights, and all service is with disposable items. If they want people to pay for it, then they need to offer something that's competitive with the competition.

The way the story is written it sounds like the airport owns the equipment until you get to the point of who is in charge and responsible for issues and then the airlines become the owners of the equipment. Does anyone else get that idea?

When youre there - take a good look at the airport building. Does it look familiar? Think back circa 1978. DFW.

The powers-that-be in Lubbock were so impressed with DFW after it opened, they hired an architect to essentially steal the plans. Instead of a half-dozen semi-circles though, they only built one quarter-circle. DFW has since updated, LBB has not. It looks just like the original DFW.

That is why I felt I had been there before when I lived there last year. Ironically I hadn't flown into or outta DFW since late 80s until I moved to LBB but that makes since. I do howver think the width is scaled down too.

Oh great! The Nascar-isation of the airline industry. Next thing you know we're gonna be getting on a plane plastered with decals... As you taxi to the terminal at the end of a flight, the captain will get on the PA and say, "Well folks we couldn't have done it without all the help from our Coca Cola, Starbucks, Wrangler, Viagra team!

You can see it here, but what is all the burnmark like surface there?!

That must have been taken on a snowy day.

Well I need to retract that as there is no snow on the grass. :) Perhaps it has to do with de-icing fluid though as it does seem like it is in the area where the planes would be parked and a faint outline of some.

They announced that they were going this way back in July. Delta was first to actually implement it, IIRC.

There is supposed to be a link or checkbox on the page to print the BP without the ads on it. No sens in wasting ink/toner if you don't need to.
