I guess that is why I can not get a drink.

Based on the history of drunk posting... I didn't think that was a problem :p

The commercial is incredibly disturbing.

Will they permit a transfer of an unaffected domain?

That's a pretty bad biz practice to shut down all of one's sites if they get a complaint.

Can I start filing claims against random companies in an effort to get their domains shut down? :)

sprint changed sprint premier, so you now have to do upgrades online to get them free

Sounds like with godaddy you can. We handle such differently, taking only page, or in some cases domain down, but not entire unless it is spam they are sending, that is a bigger issue.

By the way, since that's the case, why is it that the hurricane hunters just don't fly above until they get to the eye, and then use a tight corkscrew descent to get in, measure the pressure, and go out the same way? Eyes are some miles across, right? Or do they get valuable info flying through the storm on the way in/out?

Pretty sure they get valuable info within the storm. they also use propjobs that take a lot longer to get in and out...or many of them are props in any case.

Even better, Customer Support just claimed that they can not provide me any information and that I can only submit my response to the generic email account. That was done hours ago.

Godaddy does it on the account level. It is a pretty legit complaint - an information source did not like that I posted their content, even though it was clearly back linked and cited. No squabble from me, I will pull and refrain, but taking everything down is simply ridiculous.

Just arrived by email:

Dear HeathrowGuy,

Thanks for your message and it was a pleasure speaking with you this afternoon. As we've agreed, in lieu of the United Airlines travel certificate, we are going to be having Continental Airlines add 5,000 good will miles to your OnePass account # XXXXXXXX. It normally takes 2-3 weeks for the mileage to appear in your OnePass account.

We appreciate your business and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you aboard soon.

Regards,
XXXXX XXXXXX
United Airlines Customer Relations

Yeah, C-130's mostly I think. The founder of wunderground has/had an interesting blog somewhere on the site about his experiences with the hurricane hunters.
