Yup, SZG is official. No thread has been started, but I'll do that in the next few months.

When the next FFN / NBT / BWB promo comes around, you do know you live in one of the best areas for mattress-running for luxury vacation stays (you moved from the other).

Happens all the time for me. I'm usually surprised when it doesn't happen. In fact, I'm usually upgraded for entire four day trips 24 hours before I depart on the first segment, and often on fare codes that are all over the map.

Only thinking about it because of double EQM and the international bonus - would hit diamond (which means I could retire the AmEx Reserve card, saving $300) and earn over 65,000 RDM. Taken together, I can mentally justify this as a "free trip". And I can haz Park Hyatt Sydney on free nights

I'll have less than 40 nights to go for lifetime plat after my next Marriott stay. I try and hit SPG whenever I can because I prefer them, and like you, my balance on SPG goes up and down, never getting nearly as high as I like. For all the MR points I spend, I always seem to have half a million there; it's like kudzu.
I just hope that I can acquire enough Starpoints in the next several months to cover all the honeymoon nights. Hopefully I can get the SPG Amex and that will help, but still, sitting on only 21,000 points right now, I'm a little worried. I know my parents MUST be sitting on some kudzu-like totals of Marriott points due to their two timeshares, etc., but I don't exactly want to ask them to help out...

Working on my second post-exercise pint now - they've got pretty solid local brews here in the Orkenys - and time for a shower and dinner. I'm also doing laundry. For the first time in ~9 years. But I'd like clean underwear for the second half of the trip, too. :p |

Line of disorganized cells with some decent VIL approaching from the east. AUS should not be effected, but I'd better go to check that nothing is left out or open.

Good morning Box. I am in our San Francisco office. Technology is against me today, so I have looged into work on my personal laptop with my aircard.
