Comes out to 5 CPM(EQM) + Visa. Not great unless you want to spend time there, IMO. But then again, I have June, July, and August wide open hoping for some weekend runs somewhere. CO has NOTHING out of the NYC area right now.

You need a visa for AU as well. Plus it can be done in less time. ;)

ETA - Also, some boxers already have valid visas with time remaining on them to said destination. |
Anyone have any advice or experience on this?
I had a bootable partition trashed by a blue screen of death during a Paragon partition expansion operation. It could not recover, and it totally trashed the FAT tables. Virtually all of the data was backed up, and a "Recover My Files" program got a few of the missing. BUT... there was a simple text file on the desktop, used every day, into which I'd cut and paste links, phone numbers, write reminders, make phone call notes, etc. That is gone (it wasn't a shortcut), and there was some information in it that wasn't backup up that I now need. Question: Does anyone know of any data forensics programs that will read unformatted for known strings/tokens sector by sector? I know some words, and some unique web addresses, that should identity the sectors containing the old file's contents (about 83K in total, maybe 20K not backed up). I can ship the drive off to Gillware, whom I've used before for a mechanical disk fail, and they'd get it, but it's around 400 for open ended turnaround and 1100 for day turnaround. |

I did allow my mother to pick out the bridesmaid dresses. I didn't want to be blamed for how ugly the girls thought they were.

^ Pretty fun, huh? I can't wait till that technology expands to other varieties. Between the awesomeness of the mini-keg and the fact that it's by far the best beer option on CO domestic flights, it's really quite a shame that I don't particularly like Heineken (I mean, it's fine, but...eh.) |
I wanted to thank everyone for the luck passed on. The interview went well. They still have some other candidates they need to interview... but I felt it went well.^ They want to fill this position soon, so I hope to know something late this week or early next week.
The sad part of my day was picking up my daughter from daycare. She must have had so much fun, that she did not want to go and she was crying like I pulled a tooth out. She wasn't even happy to see me. Even in the car she cried. :( Eventually, it was out of sight, out of mind, and the crying subdued. |

Heineken is ok, but I would rather have a Guinness.

Surprised that I have not read one comment about the new Iphone 4. Still on AT&T (which I knew would happen):td:.

no worries though, sdm1130 will chime in when in IAH, I am sure will WANT one on release day. It doesn't look so hot compared to the EVO either, IMO. |
Ok, the TWare expired between the time I left the office and the time I got home.

I have no memory of this, of course, but apparently on my first ever flight without the parents (this was CLE-BDL in 1987; must have been UA; I was 5), they waited with me at the gate, which of course you could do back then. Then it was time for boarding, and I said goodbye and trotted off down the jetway without so much as a look back. I think they were a bit distressed. :p (Of course, earlier that year had been the first day of pre-K, in which [so I hear] most of the other kids were crying and clinging to their parents, and I just told my mother "you can go home now". I guess I liked school from the beginning - perhaps why I ended up doing it for 22 years and now teach at one...

pardon my beer ignorance....but aren't Heineken and Guinness....totally different?! I think one is a lager and one a stout, which are....very different.
