As all of us like flying on planes, would any of us build this house?
I did fly Tower Air once, so I might need to look up the tail number on this one! |

It was fine when I stayed there a few years back. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, which is why I think it is often so cheap. It was a concept hotel for an all-suites variant of W. The suites aren't gigantic... more like Sheraton Suites sized.
It was so far out in the middle of nowhere I decided to stay at Hyatt Place in Fremont, don't regret that at all. Of course it was going for a lot more than 109 when I booked. |

In other strange news this morning, AS adds SEA-STL. Who'd have thunk it?

I really wish SkyTeam USA wasn't $150 cheaper than CO for my August trip to teh Pit

AA is pulling that route, so it is no real surprise that they are adding it.

I don't think I've ever defended a reality show in my life (I don't consider Amazing Race reality) but that's one I'd consider standing up for because it works.
There's a real subset of teenagers out there that think becoming a parent is what they want more than anything. The show exposes them to the reality of what that entails and paints a pretty grim picture on how (for the most part) they've really screwed up their lives. Normally I'd like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but teh Canuck who teaches in a high school knows of at least a couple kids who have been influenced by the show. It also influences teenagers who are experimenting with sex to understand that they can get pregnant if they don't take certain precautions and the risk doesn't come close to outweighing the reward. If it saves just one child from entering into an unhealthy environment/family then it serves a place. Doesn't mean you and I have to watch it. My fiancee used to watch the show, and I told her in no uncertain terms that she was falling for a joke. What is masquerading as awareness is really advocacy. It's great that kids that Canuck knows were influenced; I'm not saying that it isn't. But I don't think they are majority, nor do I think that kids modifying behaviors to be more sexually responsible is, quite frankly, what MTV seeks to achieve with the show. |

The code I told you about last weekend gets you a car for under $50 a/i, and allows for one way's. It always works out of EWR and 25% of the time out of LGA. Never tried to rent in Manhattan.

Morning, all. I have a quick question that doesn't merit a thread:
My Mother-In-Law will be leaving on CO89 from EWR to PEK this Saturday. She's flying on my reward ticket, so her ticket shows CO/* G in Y. She speaks no English, so my wife and I want to make certain we see her on to the plane. Would she have lounge access? I know that if I were flying on the same itinerary, I would. But, she's not an elite member, so the only CO G card that can be shown is my own. I'm trying to figure out whether I can manage to get my MIL and myself (as her guest) in, and then buy a daypass for my wife. That way, we will all be able to pass security, spend some time with her at the airport before she leaves, and to make certain she gets on her way without difficulty. I know I can buy some refundable tickets, but I'd prefer to avoid that route unless it's far easier than buying a daypass to the lounge. Thoughts? |
