If you like Cowboy orientated stuff the cowboy museum is cool. it is a 2 to 4 hour event.

Deep Forks or Mikie Mantle are nice places to eat with the later being he more expenseive of the two. I will try to think of other things and let you know.

Thanks. The cowboy museum would be interesting if for nothing other than local color.

I think I've eaten at Deep Forks on a previous trip, but not Mikie Mantle. Might check that out tomorrow.

There are numerous aspects of that museum. I would suggest going online and seeing the four or five main themes of the halls of the museum before you go.

Be warned, Mickie Mantle is a litte pricey but I hear good. Also the Skirvin and/or colcord are nice 1920 era hotels. Would be nice to check out.

Sounds like Footie DO was a success. ^^^

Barrow is... different. :-:

In case anyone were curious, a pristine otter pelt costs $299, and can apparently be purchased at finer combination laundry/haberdasher/gift-shop establishments on the Northern Slope.

That brings back memories. Without saying when it was that I was going there, I remember a guy from Norman filling us in at dinner on what he knew about the MSFT project code named Chicago, everybody in New York told me I was a fool to go across to New Jersey and risk flying a crappy airline that would shut down and leave me stranded someplace one day soon, and everybody in Denver told me I was a fool to not fly UAL like a sensible adult because CAL wouldn't survive to see DIA open.

Lots has changed, but I'll bet not that much in OKC. Good night, Box.

There ought to be a law against live trapping. Leaving the obvious pun alone, because I'm dead serious. And this from a gun owner and hunter.

Glad to know there was more than one. Misplaced mine tonight, and it was after a crazy night when I just wanted to go home.

I'll take "Contradictions in Terms" for $800, Alex.

Thanks to Olton Hall and others for the hospitality and company yesterday. I'm currently in IAD on an hour+ delay in the C6 RCC. Nice when the GA insists multiple times the last flight attendant's on the ground and will be there in a few minutes, then going into radio silence while posting delays of 14 min, then 1hr14 min, and now "operational decision" at the 1hr5 min mark.

For those with BD interests (my continued testing of misapplied procedures):

PHL RCC - lounge dragon says no one is entitled to WiFi cards on weekends, as the airport offers free AT&T on those days (no, I couldn't make that up).
IAD C6 RCC - lounge agent says I'm entitled to a WiFi card.

Morning box!

15 miles come and gone on the bicycle this morning. First time I've been on it in over 8 months. I really have to do some cleaning and maintenance on it before the next ride.

Wonder if IAD has a fitness facility. Another 21 minutes of delay added to my flight.

I've had that at PHL before and it is true; the airport WiFi is free on weekends. The IAD agent was wrong.

Good morning, Box.

Question. Without going at all into names or details, have there ever been any hookups amongst members of the Penalty Box?
