Flight to EWR delayed 2 hours. :(
Open bar at the SKL. :D As I walked in I ran into an old friend here. That was interesting, to say the least. Had a great chat and now waiting to be thrown out when they close this place down. I'll have to head to the regular RCC at that point, I suppose. |

So, I wanted to apply for the Gold card first & then transfer the MR points to new account, then cancel Plat -- well, I was approved!^
I need to get my first year free card from Chase/CO and downgrade my PLT. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting the value from it but the 300K+ MR points I have need something to keep them functional. |

Just had a shower here in the SKL. Nicer towels than the Koru club in SYD. The Koru was nice but I'm not so sure it is the best ever. Lot of space and decent food, but the couple snacks I had in the SKL there were better than the food I had in the Koru. Sadly the SKL here doesn't seem too keen on refilling the snack platters. Might have to resort to cup o' noodles. |

Yes. I am doing IAH-SEA-ANC-FAI-SCC-BRW-FAI-ANC-PDX-IAH next weekend. Depart Friday evening and return Sunday early am. If you are doing IAH-SEA-ANC, we should have at least one of those segments (SEA-ANC) together.

Hmmmm... FareCompare claims IAH-MEM is $203a/i on CO. That would make the MEM-SMF B fare positioning reasonable. :-:
