It isn't horrible. It's in a meh area of town, and the rooms aren't anything special (they didn't try very hard when they converted it from whatever it used to be before Katrina). The common areas are nice, but the rooms are uninspiring. You should get free breakfast coupons as a Plat, though. It isn't horrible, it just wouldn't be my first choice.
If you had booked the 4P by the airport, I would counsel avoidance, even on a prepaid stay. However, the Sheraton Metairie doesn't reach that level of :rolleyes: |

Hello from the E club in IAH. I was to late to get to the agent in PHL for a bump. They offered 300 to two passengers. Now the ANC flight is oversold by 8.

If it wasn't for the $259+ price tag, the W Poydras would be my pick as well. I just can't justify spending that kind of money for a stopover on a move/long drive. Sadly, the Westin does not have any rooms available that weekend. :(

Save your cash and stay at the Sheraton N.O. The W FQ is one of my least favorite Ws, unless you get a carriage-house room w/jacuzzi tub in the backyard (they only have 2).
