Sounds like something that happened to sister #2 a long time ago. A baby tooth that was, well, not all that loose had to come out, probably for braces or something, and my dad said he'd give her $5 (which sounded like a fortune, I'm sure) if she could pull it out before they had to go to the oral surgeon (which would have cost $75). I think she proceeded to promptly yank the thing straight out of her mouth. Nothing like a little motivation. :p

(Sister #1 kept said oral surgeon in business for years dealing with her very, very slow-growing teeth. Dentally retarded, I say.)

I was at the Brickskeller last nice also.

Are you serious? Wow, we need to plan these things better! :D

Off to the Kennedy Center...National Symphony playing, among other things, Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. tjtenor4's parents have never heard it and I honestly don't know how they're going to react. We might have another Paris 1913 riot on our hands.

(It's one of my all-time favorites. The final movement, in particular, may not be a conductor's Mount Everest, but it's definitely up there with Kilimanjaro or such. :))

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9630/5.0.0.591 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Walked across the Harbour Bridge to Kirribilli for breakfast this morning. While searching on the intertubez for a recommendation in the 'hood I wander past a place and think to myself, "hmmm, this looks nice."

Top-recommended place on more than one site.

Looks like I've got breakfast plans.

I am going to sign off for a while. Fortunately, it is still early enough to get something accomplished.

I'm having to witness a bit of teen drama.

When girls get their hearts broken it's a quiet affair. They wish to die, cry in their rooms and play sad songs.

BUT

When a boy gets his heart broken it's 'damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead'! As in slamming doors, yelling at me and threatening to not play in tonight's soccer game.

My son's girlfriend (that has been too busy for her to let him come visit) is moving to NC to live with her father tonight. Of course she calls him this afternoon to tell him the news.

Your poor son -- I guess his GF figured that he wasn't gonna take it well, in any case!:(

CO must like you more. I never have any luck with stuff like that. Though, I will say, I used to have much better luck with the agents in SAN then I have ever had at EWR.
