Do you know if they'll still honor old tickets without charging you a fare difference on board? If so, I will definitely be stocking up too!!

The ZFW-EWR tix have a "good for one year from date of travel" note on them but I've never tried taking one to a ticket agent and having it changed.....I usually just board with the wrong ticket and if the conductor says something, I tell him that the counter agent said it was alright.

One can only hope.
Although I'm sure it will be a disappointment.

Indeed! That was a multiquote that even baglady could be proud of! :p

Ditto. Also, a bunch of my high schoolers are obsessed with it and think we should "do that kind of stuff in choir." Um, no.

I really think musically they were onto something in the first couple episides but then someone said "hey....let's make this more like High School Musical" and then the awful overprocessing began.

Producers of Glee and other "live music" shows: If you're going to have a band on screen looking like they're backing up the singer, don't have the song use completely different instruments than we're seeing.....it insults our intelligence. When I watch a band, the first thing I focus on is the drummer.....if he's not even hitting his drums, if the drums in the song are obviously synthesized and he's "playing" a real kit, or if there's a fill in the song yet he just keeps "playing" the beat, your show is getting turned off!

If you want it to look like real musicians are playing, here's a hint: HIRE REAL MUSICIANS AND LET THEM PLAY! If and of you come to see my band sometime, there may be a bad note here and there and every song won't be perfect but everything you hear will be completely LIVE....that's what real music is about.[/RANT]

How good is the wifi on UA's ps, would I be able to watch my SlingBox?

I've only been on one PS flight but I briefly connected to my SlingBox and had decent throughput. I only had it on long enough to see if it worked and it didn't seem too bad (about the same as in a hotel with average WiFi). That being said, I'm not sure if anyone else on the flight was doing any "bandwitdth-hogging".

The Guinness I sampled and made that observation from was consumed at the famous airport bar in SNN with all of the military artwork.

Repeatedly breaking TOS is something that can get a thread shut down. :-:

In the interest of self- and Box preservation, I will only say that there is a reason my career has not progressed as it maybe should have. My lack of personal filtration is probably a large part of that.

Interesting to see Virgin and CX under investigation for possible collusion.

Mackieman,

one quick correction, Gecko is NOT iphone browser engine, that is KHTML/AppleWebKit Mobile Safari.

Gecko is the MOZILLA browser engine and in the AppleWebKit ID line it says 'like Gecko' similar to how others have given their 'like' heritage of 'compatibility' in past.
