In other news, I may well get to meet Salman Rushdie next Saturday night. There are currently no plans to share a sauna with him, however.

Try not to be out in the open too much either, stay in the shadows and not in direct path of fire. ;)

Staying too close, could be bad with the history of f:rolleyes:twas out against him.

I know -- it's just that he normally doesn't want to hang out w/his band -- just perform with them -- so it took me by surprise that they are still here!:rolleyes: I guess they realized that they really need to put in a lot of practice time for the big gig, tomorrow!
I'm just gonna leave 'em here & hope for the best!

That's a rip-off, I paid like 40 for a locksmith to break into my house.

$74 for a service to spend literally EIGHT SECONDS to break into my car last weekend. I was peeved.

I was filling my tire with air, with the car running and a gust of wind blew the door closed, and it auto locked after a few seconds.

:td::td: I'd much rather have bought Mackieman a $75 gift than to blow money like that.

Make sure your trunk contains all adult beverages before you leave!

I get lots of peace and quiet now - just can't afford to travel much since my room/board/tuition contribution kinda messes with the type of stuff I like to do:td:

I wish I could pull timing like that for early PHL departures. There's no good public transit method for me.

Morning, Box.

I used to do that on the early Saturday morning departures PHL-IAH when I lived in PHL. I would wake up about 45 minutes before departure, get to the off airport parking, and be in my seat with 10-15 minutes to spare. I avoided Terminal D's long security line by going to Terminal C w/ my US GP and going through the elite line there.:-:

Not the entire purchase, that would have been nice. Just 8K, but when I ordered it, they said 2K. So, I got a little something extra, plus I found some pricing I was eligible for just last week(and they honored it) so the price ended up being pretty much what it would have been with the $1500 in rebates I lost last fall, and that's what I wanted.

I wound up buying a car in 2006 and put $10K on a cc. The rest was ca$h.^ I wanted to put the whole car on my US Airways CC. I now need to burn those miles off.

AAA is your friend. It's well worth the $ to me.

I made it to SNA. And when I turned on my cell phone I had three messages from work begging me to come in tonight. I told them I could work from 1am till 7am. So this means no more drinks and the plane better be on time. :p

True, I don't have it now, but family does. I will be looking into it now.

AAA also offers nice Hyatt discounts with generous cancellation penalties - also allows you to add another offer code during promotions (unlike Costco, which itself is an offer code).
