Congrats on the Devils win.

You have directTV eh?

The suckiest provider in the world.

they insist people where I live had local channels via antenna, I know someone that has the tallest legally allowed and gets on channel in very fuzzy!

My parents also live near a lake in an area with no tv signal and directv refuses local channels to them there as well, in fact they don't carry them like dish network does.

So sorry to hear that things have been so rough today,:(

I dealt with Alzheimer's w/my Dad -- it was really sad to see him deteriorate from the person he was.:( In his case, he went downhill pretty quickly & had to go into a nursing home -- where he was for the last 5 yrs of his life, which ended up being a 'blessing' for my step-mom. I have another friend whose dad has alzheimer's & her mom just had a stroke. She now sees exactly what her mom has had to deal with for the past few years.:(

Here's my secret - start drinking diet coke or what ever caffeniated drink you desire - 1 hour before landing and you will be good to go!

The network :-:

Where are you flying into? I've bought many a cheap workable phone in China.

I know how you feel. My older sister has early onset Alzheimer's. She's only 57 and is otherwise healthy. It's heartbreaking to watch the slow deterioration and to know what my BIL will have to deal with for the rest of his life.

There was an interesting piece on NPR the other morning...

As of now I arrive into HKG on 4/27 late in the evening. If I can get my shift covered, I want to fly into CAN on 4/27 for a noon arrival.

I can pick up a prepaid phone in China?

Blackberry tour is good if you can find a VZW model for cheap.

It's life and sometimes it sucks. My mom has to deal with him most days so I am quite blessed. I had to explain to bl jr's babysitter what he was like, but honestly, who knows, his days wax and wane. It's a sucky disease which I try to understand but do little to. Suduko and blueberries my friends . . .

Off to bed; have an early (8 hours 2 mins) call to huskerland.
