Spacebed is the name SQ used for their last generation C class, it is essentially the same as the UA PS F seat that Alco posted.

Sadly, nothing new for me recently. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to snap some pictures of the UA E- seat this weekend. :(

That reminds me... What's the recommended protocol for asking about E+ on UA? Do I mention my CO status? Show my card? Just ask for the seat? Are they likely to give it to my wife as well?

Unless they have reconfigured since last May, they are free-standing rather large and cumbersome Lazy-Boy type contraptions that are somewhat difficult to adjust to exactly the position that you would like (altho not as difficult as the old CO 777 seats). The IFE is a box of some sort that maybe works and maybe does not and the food is wildly inconsistent. Most of the time it s*cks completely and others it is very good. However, since you are UA nothing, you will not have any choice of meals whatever and will be left with whatever all of the UA elites do not want. Again, unless things have changed to honor CO Plat, when we flew US Plat, and * Gold meant nothing.

That being said, the crews that we got JFK-SFO-JFK were wonderful, light years ahead of the crews that we had the prior year JFK-LAX and return. They were also quite a lot better than the international crews to SYD who mostly did 10 hours of hiding-out on the 14 hour flights. But the FC seats on the 747s were absolutely wonderful. Just about as good as they could be. The preference should go to the single seats on the window side since they have more shelf and storage room than those in the center.

However, if you have never taken PS, it is probably worth the experience but maybe just once. Hope this helps.

I need to get my Aerosur Domestic F photo uploaded. :D

Jury duty

I had federal jury duty in NYC . They have really long trials there. I almost got on a civil trial but was rejected by the lawyers;) . Luckily I am now exempt for all jury duty (state & federal) for 4 years.:) . One nice thing (besides getting paid 40$) the courthouse is next to little Italy and Chinatown so there were lots of good places for lunch .

My favorite jury duty was Grand Jury. Once a week for 8 weeks. Easy to schedule around and pretty darn interesting.

I think we will just have to hide the logos or branding and then we can use the shots. We're going to have to be generic. :(

I don't have a problem with the no branding issues. Big issue is logistics of getting people together to take the photos, well that an acceptable photo ideas. Two ideas are three people rushing down the corridor towards their gate as they are late. Buisness suits with at least one tie undone and one shirt tail out, and someone on the phone. (I'm sure that would be vetoed as the running part is unsafe) The other would be a couple sitting at the gate looking at something and sharing wonderful memories of the vacation they just ended. I'd sure like to get something in baggage claim but it would have to be a positive photo.

It is quite a reality check to think about the fact that there are plenty of people who belong in that photo, and I am not one of them. :o

Yes, we have. Want a nice snapshot of an E145 or Dash 8? That's about all I've got lately... :p

The only "fun" plane I've been on in a really long time was a UA p.s. flight in C. Behold, a picture of my toes (it was 12B): http://tinyurl.com/y653pta

ETA: How the heck do you embed images again?!?

I have had to go to Grand Jury a couple times for some arrests that I have made. It is interesting to see if my case is scheduled for the morning, it takes longer. The jury is more interested in the case. If I am scheduled for the afternoon...... well the jury just wants to get the heck out of there and get home. Sometimes the "bad guy" does not stand a chance in the afternoon.

Second call to CO now to have the ticket reissued. :-:

I thought about snapping some pics of the 752 back a week ago, but it was too tired looking, no need that was not quality aeropr0n.
