While I haven't done that exact drive, I have left and entered the state through both locations. And not simultaneously, duh. :)

All this talk in teh Box today about road trips reminds me of this site:

http://cmap.m-plex.com/index.php

I started to do a map a few months ago. It's a time consuming process and my enthusism for it waned, but thought it might be of interest to some here.

Is this in your immediate future?? ^

Sadly not. As far as new and exotic carriers are concerned, teh future is a bit bleak at the moment. I've had a good run the past several months, though. I'll figure something out as time progresses. Time to give a little love to CO and make sure I earn every bit of the Extra Mile Bonus. ^

Velly nice, but consider spending a few days mainlining some smack from airlineroutemaps.com, then putting the nice folks over at the elite line through some additional training. :D

I am finding the elite line is hit or miss.

Would be, except for the State Troopers and Sheriffs between Ballinger and Dumas.

We used to have a family friend who was a sheriff for Scurry County (Snyder) and he would tell the funniest stories about speeders and their attempts to get out of tickets.

I started mine, as well (interstates only, so far). Need to update it with some new roads, but haven't gotten around to it:

Ooooohhh, nice. Jealous. When's the trip?

I depart 4/26 and arrive in HKG 4/27. I am spending one night at teh W before taking the train to Guangzhou to meet up with the s/o and the rest of the group. We have a few days there and then a few days back in HKG and 4 days in PVG.

jrzyshawn Apr 13, 2010 8:43 pm

Im really hoping CO does this for the SWU sake of it but I am screwed if they dont allow previously booked tickets. Ive got ~35k miles booked between now and the end of May.

I will earn plat fair and square with BIS miles, and I'm doing my best to get 100K for SWU... this would help.

Besides FT'ers doing MR's do you think 2 months of DEQM will really inflate the top tier elites?

not really

I think DEQM does influence more than just FTer behavior. If it weren't the case, I doubt many airlines would bother with such promos to achieve their target levels for elites.

agree

I made a reservation at teh W in HKG :)

I was torn between that and the Sheraton. I chose Sheraton for 5-day reward stay in July.

How many days until football season? This may just be the most pathetic Astros team ever.
