HA.

Speaking of bank failures, I unearthed the most confounding language on chase.com in regards to accepting or declining overdraft protection. It said something like "if you select yes then you are agreeing that you read the terms and conditions and accept overdraft protetion." "if you select no then you are stating you did not read the terms and conditions and therefore are unable to make a selection."

Those were the two options with no real option to opt-out.

I forwarded that to the NYS AG's office because I like tormenting Chase. I anticipate the language will be updated within a week.

Isn't there a little theme park/tourist trap you can waste time at. it's like an overpass.

That is really interesting. I declined it but was able to actually decline it. That NY language is silly.

The agent that answered my call to the DL Elite line this morning was pimping the DL AMEX.

Question: Do you have 24 hours to change/cancel a ticket regardless of the fare class without having to pay the change fee (just a change in fare, if required)?

Tickets are refundable within 24 hours. I think a change would require the change fee, so just refund and rebook at whatever fare is available.

I saw that on the consumerist.com. You have to say to yes to the first Q and No to the second to be declined on overdrafts.

Gotcha. I so rarely cancel or change flights, I really don't have any experience with this.... but I see that canceling and rebooking would be the better option :)

Someone posted that already? Interesting.

Chase sucks.
