In Illinois, part of it is related to state funding. When I was an undergrad (class of '01), the state was still paying a slight majority of UIUC's budget. In-state tuition, room, and board was around $10K/yr. Now, the state's paying about 10% because our politicians can't cut all the patronage pork out of the budget.
Fall 2010 full-year tuition, room, and board for students in the College of Engineering is now $31K. At least they structure the tuition program (under state law) such that the rate is locked for 4 years - the price you pay for freshman year is the price you'll pay your senior year. Seniors graduating this year are paying about $4K less. |

Had flights post from Thurs. :-:
CO is being bizarro with their posting times this year. They were reliably 48 hours since I joined OP a couple years ago and this year it's been anywhere between 48 hours and two weeks. |

Actually make good on the transfer of the $1,000,000 after the person confirms their bank account information? :D

In my view, that is how every college/university should operate.

Sorry to hear. Mine doesn't golf, but he does fish. IMO that is even more damaging to the brain than golf.
When in fresh water and the striper are biting, there is not much more fun :D |

Not unlike the thing about Jimmy Norton and bran muffins, your statement is replete with things that just sound wrong to me.
I'm curious how one can fish incorrectly. I'm curious how a good time can be had fishing. Let the record show that I will be going fishing on my honeymoon. Yup, it's true. At the resort, a boat pulls up with freshly caught fish and the hotel chefs purchase them when the resort guest points and says "That one." Said fish is then put on ice until lunch and grilled outdoors. That is how I fish. BTW, your software hospitality is again very much appreciated. Everything got installed last night. I bow to thee. :-: Fishing is an exercise in self-release; of letting it all go. There is solitude, and solace of being away from anything that my steal you away from relaxation. You can royally screw that up by:
That list is by no means exhaustive, but it does cover most of the majors. Fishing is fun by virtue of simply attempting to do it. The beer, sammiches, and other assorted junk foods are a good time too. Glad the install worked; no bowing is necessary, but I will take you up on that drink. :) |

Good Morning, Box. I don't know what I did to deserve to sleep this late, but I can't say that I liked it. I think watching America's Worst Driver late last night and into this morning screwed me up good.
We got a real kick out of the San Fran show. :D |

While I am not one to go out and spend 8 hours on the lake, you clearly haven't been on a good fishing trip!

Doesn't everybody keep a bottle of Champagne on ice in anticipation of such an eventuality? I do not remember ever having opened a bottle that was warm. |

I'll put it this way. The only fishing that I could even be persuaded to try is Mexican sportfishing. I have heard stories of guys who caught something on the trip that enabled them to pay for the entirety of the vacation in cash upon their return and pocket a nice profit even after that.

If so, that's really strange. |
