In other news, the fetid haunches of the Gulf of Mexico have squatted firmly atop Teh Pit, bathing us in their humid, stagnant glory.

The 6A thread has taken a life of its own. I can't believe some of the stuff people are posting in there, especially in regards to personal hygiene.
ssulivan needs to post about defecating in the barf bag to really derail that thread. You know, the 10 year anniversary of that flight is coming up next year. Maybe I should schedule a Beech 1900 run out of DEN on Great Lakes to mark the occasion. |

Sunsets are nice, but you're missing the pictures of those days when it hasn't rained in 3 months, the wind starts blowing, the sky turns brown, the streetlights come on in the middle of the day, and Lubbock is enveloped in a cloud of dirt.

West Texas and the Panhandle kind of blend together and I love 'em both. |

That only happens once, maybe twice a year. The pluses are that they have actual seasons, there's no humidity, and life just seems a little less stressful. I'd prefer to live more in the mountainous regions out there, but there are not a lot of communities that appeal to me (besides Alpine). |

Assuming that you are in GA...growing up in that general vicinity, I remember when Alpharetta was the sticks and full of complete rednecks. I don't think anyone really envisioned what that city (or those to its north) has become today.
