Just thought of that, one diet coke on the way.

Glad you got over the misconception M&S is very pricey.

Just my 2 cents worth (having attended several family weddings) - DJ.

DJ - music is higher quality, more choices, volume can be adjusted.

Bands - marginal quality, too loud, limited choices.

My thoughts pretty much exactly.

She asks for the poll and disagrees with the results.

Yes indeed.

The DJ I recommended a few weeks ago. He created an incredibly classy (and very fun) evening that was far from cheesy - several of our guests commented on how great he was. Set up a meeting with him and I can guarantee she will be impressed.

Preference at weddings: highly acclaimed band or highly acclaimed DJ?

I had a band but now I prefer DJs.

You get lobster ravioli with crab for the cost of a Diet Coke plus tax / tip and that's bad? Also, I was acutely aware in Chicago that M&S took the $20 off before assessing sales tax ^

+1 I was a guest at a friend's wedding, and the DJ was horrible!

windwalker Mar 11, 2010 7:22 pm

We're going with a DJ

Better choice IMHO

I downloaded the original Super Mario for Wii tonight and it struck me that the bad guys in the 1985 version of the game did not cause ethnic groups to be "offended".
