What is going on in West Texas in March of 2009?
IAH-ELP is pricing into Y (due to the return) and the Gage Hotel is completely booked minus a few days. |

Got it. I usually avoid that one as the staff tends to be a bit rough around the edges.
In any case, I will definitely be on the look out for some Biscoffs next week. Today they've been rather pleasant. And the WiFi is actually working well in here, unlike the last three times I've been to the C-120 club, where it's been totally useless. I can even connect to my VPN in here today, and my BlackBerry is running on UMA. I even made a call on the BB over the PC WiFi, which has never happened at the EWR C-120 club. |

Bad Scott6067! Shopping at Wal-Mart under any circumstances is a big no no.
On the LBB front and the location of places you are correct. I think that there are 4 or 5 of us that have connections there. I still think we should try a mini do in LBB one of these days. Perhaps talk with the station manager and get a tour! :) On another note, there is a cool flight museum at the airport for WWII Glider Pilots for those of you that go to LBB regularly. |

The area gets used in a lot of movies, and hotels like the Gage (and Paisano in Marfa, Limpia in Fort Davis, Maverick and Holland in Alpine) tend to fill up when that's going on. The area's also becoming increasingly more popular as more tourists discover it, although the Gage is generally out of the price range of most family spring break tourists. |

You have to remember that Wal-Mart is the Neiman Marcos of Stillwater shopping destinations! One person's slumming is another person's Speciality Store.

That's why you drive to Tulsa. :p
I should also mention that the Immigration Officials at YYC dont like the idea of someone flying in by themselves to meet no one for 27 hours of visiting the city. I had a great time though and found a great restaurant called the Tribune that is off of sixth street in Downtown YYC if you ever get a chance to go there. |

A lot of the smaller CO stations and a few of them in TX are looking for Station Managers. Too bad my only airline industry experience is FT.

If we do it in the summer we'll have free reign over the place. We'll actually be able to get a table at Chimy's and Spanky's. The Silent Wings Museum looks very interesting, so I'd be up for that as well. Maybe throw in a winery tour too (complimentary tour and tasting ^^) |
