I very vaguely remember being about 6 and being on an Eastern flight from Florida to Newark on July 4th weekend. Said vague memory includes looking out the window and seeing two engines hanging off the wing. I have no way to back up the assertion that I may have snagged the ride, but I have a slight suspicion that I did.

Indeed. My most exotic catches to date have been the Tu-154M and Let-410 Turbojet. More recent vintages are the A340-200 and 737-600.

I need to check out some OAGs from the early 80s. My family took a trip down to Cozumel on CO, and I know CO had some 727-100s at the time. Would be curious to find out if I've flown the type.

I picked up the 727-100 Combi on Air Mike, GUM-TKK and TKK-GUM. :D

It says in the fine print purchased after 2/15 but who knows. I have no plans to fly on DL in the timeframe but would be willing to convince my father to join a team. He only flies DL and has a couple TATLs in the timeframe. I figure I'd just take the free miles off his efforts. :D

Apparently my lifestyle does not meet with my sister's approval. All because I said that I wasn't going to plan my July 4th weekend around a trip to a beach in Florida that I go to 1-2 times a year anyways. I "don't respect our family" enough. :mad: :mad:

Wow! :eek: Shocking, considering your travel prowess. I have been on both DC-8s, and L10-11s. I remember flying a lot on Eastern FLL-NYC growing up. I don't remember the airports we flew into. I remember flying on National and Braniff as well.
