I'm not a huge fan of Michael Kay, but his voice means baseball season is here and I have no complaints about that! ^

Are you staying at the Sheraton Suites? We stayed there last year and it was quite convenient to Legends Field (I think they'll even shuttle you over there). The post-renovation pictures ALCO recently posted show a HUGE improvement as well.

It's now the best SPG option in Tampa, IMHO.

I agree. He's better than many other announcers but that doesn't make him a good commentator.

Yup...we are staying there. If they have a shuttle that is a nice bonus but I'll have a car (minivan for the 5 of us) and parking is only $10. Might be worth it to not be on their schedule or deal with crowds on the van. We'll have to see. Nice to see that it is renovated and considered nice now. I booked based on price and SPG, plus the suite will be nice for the other women sharing a room as they get two beds plus a couch.

We had a car as well, so I can't comment on how the shuttle works. As you said, parking is only $10 so it's probably easier to just drive. The size of the room should work out fine for the other women who are sharing.
