I need to call UA. They changed the schedule on my SFO-ORD-IAD-ATL itinerary next month, which resulted in a misconnect on the ORD-IAD segment. Now I'm routed SFO-DEN-IAD-ATL. The problem with that is that the SFO-ORD segment was a 744, and I really wanted to fly that segment. I'm happy either getting home later with the original routing (longer connection at IAD) or simply doing SFO-ORD-ATL and forgetting about the IAD segments. Guess I need to call the 1K line and ask to be switched back to the old routing.

yep they were even for a 6 hour rental :D

We went down the Amador Causeway, and back, then up to Miraflores locks. We ate at a restaurant right on the mainland off of the causeway. One was local foods, and the other was a massive Italian place, I looked at that one from google maps and the size of that Italian restaurant was huge, no idea why such a large place.

Grupo Salinas's lusacell in Mexico provides great EVDO coverages over mexico in flight.... I learned this by accident, after turning my phone on and seeing I had not disabled the radio before power down. I just wanted to take a couple pics, so turned off the radio and snapped away.

Drinks were nicely priced indeed! It was only $3 for a real caprihina and $4.25 for some VERY strong margaritas (according to those drinking) 3 something for a pina colada as well.

I don't remember what the beer prices were, but must have been low.

it was funny the fish entrees were less than the appetizers :D

The car I booked has unlimited kilos as well. And we've got plenty of time. I suggest an itinerary that involves Amador and lunch first, then the Locks. There are generally no ships passing through mid-day due to the heat so not such a great time to be there. We probably have time to get up into Gamboa or all the way to the other end of the canal and then come back down. Should be a good time, assuming I don't fall asleep at the wheel.
