No need to plan around me -- but thanks!^ I've already got quite a bit of upcoming travel booked (for me, at least)!;) Chances are that any 'available' weekend would have other possible 'destinations' for me!;):D

The sweet, soothing voice of Michael Kay.

It is going to still be cool down there this weekend; forecast is in the 60s. Should still be fun. I'm playing travel agent, tour guide, chauffeur and chaperone for my wife and four of her girlfriends. On the plus side, I get lots of co.com credits and a few extra SPG points. Should be a lot of fun.

At least it'll be sunny down here. May have to make my first appearance in a lounge chair by the pool

Thanks all for the bump karma.

We're going to haul a$s off this flight and find the Philly flight ASAP so we at least have a fighting chance. Hopefully a tailwind pushes us and we can get on the gate that much faster.
Door isn't closed but battery is lower than I would like and Bolt is acting up. Will post results when known.

Gate C-34 is showing for 1776... for now. GL!

You're looking at arrival into C26 and departure from C34, so it isn't too bad.

That looks a LOT like where I stayed last year. Is it over just off the end of the runway? The place last year was quite nice but I thought it was actually a brand new property, not a remodel.

I don't know where it is, exactly, in relation to the runways (don't recall planes landing in close proximity). IIRC, renovations were only completed in late December or early January. I stayed there on a Tampon run in April of last year, and it was definitely still old-school.

Odd question, but did they swap out the doors during the renovation? With the windows (facing the hallway ) on either side and the design of the door, I felt like I was going in to a grandma's house.

It's the only thing I disliked about New York... Freaking hipsters everywhere.

Don't get me wrong, we have them here in Houston, but I can avoid them by avoiding places that serve PBR.

Rim shot?

I don't recall. I got there late, snapped some photos, and had an early morning departure back to IAH (that was delayed for nature's own de-icing).
