W more so than others, but there are also a lot fewer of them. It's easy to be unique with each property when that's what you're trying to do, and you've only got a few dozen properties that are part of that particular brand.

Honestly, across Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, and Intercontinental (can't say much for Hyatt as I've only been in a handful of their properties), the number of unique properties versus the cookie-cutter ones isn't all that different.

Hyatt is one of the most cookie cutter of all :D Even on the high end properties.

Hyatt Places and Summerfield Suites stake their reputations on being essentially identical. I have a different assessment on the Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, most of the Hyatt Regency, and Andaz. I can state I do appreciate the same bed everywhere I travel, regardless of chain.

I let out an audible groan once I realized the current basketball game is being played in the "HP Pavilion"

When has this thread truly been about Continental?

occasionally a relevant topic gets posted, like improving toilet paper in the PCs.

Relevant to anyone who can access a PC. Well, the one I posted is probably only relevant to males who can access a PC.

I realize Google's sales of the Nexus One have been slow. But really, do they need to be advertising it in every ad space on every site I go to?

Besides I kind of like that there aren't so many of them out there. Mine has been quite the conversation piece in airports and on planes recently, as most people haven't seen one, and when you have a very active live wallpaper turned on, it's rather attention-grabbing.

I was talking about you today (to my mom) about your bumptastic ways and my plans for spring break next year ;)

In EAR where we're going from a lovely 70 degree day to snow tomorrow

I am 6 for 6 being here for the start of Spring and having snow. Need to drive to OMA tomorrow to see friends and pick up Plus1.

*HATE* the TSA in MCO.

I left some pom martini mix here from Christmas and it sucks. Yes, I'm sure it's stirrings ;) Had to throw out some perfectly good vodka because it was undrinkable.

Went and bought wine and champagne for my mom's birthday. I can't believe how expensive everything is here.

My brackets aren't looking so good.

I've missed teh box.

Isn't EAR lovely. When I was there it went from sunny to monsoon in 10 minutes.
