Just curious what the other Boxers heading to AUS this weekend had planned for Saturday (beyond the morning tour).

IIRC, the Sheraton is actually closer to the Mozarthaus, and the buses that go to Kitzbuhel for day trips.

The Goldener Hirsch is actually really close, like around the corner and a few buildings down.

The only problem with Labor Day is flight prices. MLK day was bad enough this year with prices. I imagine Labor Day to Europe will be in the $900+ range (if not higher).

You know, if people in this city want to get really upset over MARTA being racially insensitive, they'd start trying to crack down on the use of the joke about what the MARTA acronym stands for.

It appears that Metro is following MARTA and has changed their most recent plans to have the brown line be the green line. The brown line is to pass through a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood.

Well, brown is kind of a sucky color if you ask me. But that's also a line that doesn't exist yet. This is a case of people throwing a fit over a color that had already been used for many years.

No planning beyond light discussion of where we might go in 2011. We'll definitely go somewhere that weekend...

IIRC, there was on-and-off discussion of this year's DO for months after BRU DO, with a final decision made around September or October. We can't be faulted for wanting to fast-forward to another epic Beer DO though, can we? :D

Brown is the color of changing colors because of stupid complaints.

I started the thread in mid-September but I think we had mostly finalized the destination in June or July. :D

Beer DO = :-:

Didnt think about that. I'll probably burn another 80k on a Oneworld reward.

Fares to teh Caribbean are generally reasonableish for Labor Day Weekend (peak of Hurricane season). :-:

ETA - I've seen SJU cheaper than SFO on Labor Day Weekend.

Indeed. Shame the red-eye IAH-SJU doesn't operate in September.
