The bling is all MARTA lines.

You know, if people in this city want to get really upset over MARTA being racially insensitive, they'd start trying to crack down on the use of the joke about what the MARTA acronym stands for.

Looking forward to my "stay" here on Friday for only 37.61 AI:

Travelodge San Ysidro

I picked up my "stays" on nights I was going to be out of town anyway. After I get these 20,000 miles, my balance will be precisely 22,000 - the BD run I have scheduled will put me above 40,000 ^

Be careful. Hypersensitivity is everywhere, you know. The smug minority who insist upon everything being PC and neutral wield great power, and I hear that most of them own major media outlets.

I'm fairly sensitive about using language that is inclusive and not offensive. But even some of us who are pretty darn liberal about most things know the limits between being sensitive and non-offensive and the downright absurd.

There is no reason that humor should bend to the will of the whiny. Don't like it, don't laugh. Simple. Change the channel.

No comment on that nut job.

I would definitely choose the Goldener Hirsch over the Sheraton. The Sheraton is still walking distance to everything, but is on the other side of the river, and not as close to the Old Town.

ETA - Shame you got screwed out of Salzburg. :(

I've been to Salzburg a few times and stayed at the Sheraton once. It wasn't bad, it was just a little more of a walk. The plus for me was that we had a room overlooking the Mirabellgarten and could see the fortress over the river clearly.

IIRC, the Sheraton is actually closer to the Mozarthaus, and the buses that go to Kitzbuhel for day trips.

The normal liberals seem to get steamrolled by those who think absurdity is the way to go.

I have a comment, she and Glenn Beck would get along well together should they decide to 'hook up'. they are both bipolar. or two faced. probably two faced liars is more accurate. Or just trying to say what they think people want, and then changing the tune the next day....

The U.S. Mint had placed my coins on a longer backorder - not canceled so that's a positive.

Is MLK DO III being planned this early? Maybe we should consider a Labor Day DO?

ConciergeMike Feb 22, 2010 9:36 am

I just called teh Elite line to split the reservation for Saturday's trip. 3 of 4 segments are waitlist only (stupid 735s in Philly on the weekends -), and IAH-SJC has 9 seats. Gold on an L fare. Odds that the fiancee gets up front? I'm thinking no.
