Well, I'm really happy that I went to EWR early. I had 4:30 in my head as the pickup time for The Mom, and I got up to Ikea a little after 2, maybe 2:15-ish. rolov and I were going to try to get together, but he got stuck in the office. Turns out it was a good thing that no one was around because I pulled into the Ikea lot, found a nice planespotting haunt, and watched about 6 jets take off...then I see a TP A330 prance down the taxiway. I think to myself "No, it isn't." As soon as I say that very phrase out loud to no one, the phone rings. :eek: Would have been over an hour late had I not come up early for pictures...goofy me never bothered to check the flight.

All I have to say is that if The Box had a bouncer, I probably wouldn't have gotten past the door when I started posting in here. IMHO, I think The Box is gaining real notice and not just its cult following, and people are stopping in that aren't known to the forum at large. That could very well partially be my fault, as I had a Box reference in my signature for a while.

Nope. I was there for 20-25 minutes, and I didn't even see a cop in the lot. I won't say exactly where I was, but I was in the close vicinity of Ikea, and I got no heat whatsoever. The keepers from my short session are going up in the planespotting thread over in Travel Photo in a minute.
