Downtown. CO HQ is a few blocks down the road.

Other than that, it's convenient to a few other bars, the light rail to nowhere, and the baseball and basketball venues.

It's downtown - about 15-20 minutes from IAH.

Hartmann took me there on my last trip to Houston. I had a Shiner for the first time and got to see where ALCO's plate will eventually hang! ^

Activating a new blackberry is a pain in the arse. Ugh.

Just caught up on the 5 pages of the box, so let me add my 2 cents:
  • Oddly enough, I was wondering where shell_nyc disappeared to myself the other day. I was worried we were going to scare her and baglady away during the Lache discussions.
  • I'm worried about buying an SLR for the simple reason that I don't need another expensive hobby.
  • If we can honestly get 10 or so box members together, I will show up at the CO DO assuming I don't have a conflicting work obligation. And if I do, then I might fly to FRA via IAH.
  • I mainly hang out here and in :rolleyes: with an occasional glance at the US forums to watch the implosion. That was my home for my first year or so on FT but now that I don't fly US any more I really have no interest in how miserable it is. I also was investing in airlines for a while and would pull information off of FT as well as a few other sites (generally employee centric ones) to time trades. It actually worked fairly well, but wasn't worth the effort.

Back to activation land. :rolleyes:

Hopefully cigarman or CO Insider will start putting real info in there soon. Now that the date is an open secret, I'm sure people are wanting more. I wonder if starting a Do IV speculation thread may be called for.

Isn't that what the other thread has already turned in to? ;) I stopped reading it.

I'm fine with just waiting. The details will eventually be posted with plenty of time for everyone to make plans.
