After VDB, not on Upgrade Standby List for new flight

My daughter took a VDB (Voluntary Denied Boarding) this morning to take a later flight CRP-IAH-BOS. They re-booked her into Y (From H or M) on a later flight and re-synced her e-ticket.

She is now NOT on the Upgrade Standby List on pda.continental.com/info. A call to the elite line got me transferred to electronic support where they spent 15 minutes looking at it and finally brushing me off with something to the effect of “Well, she’s gold. She’s in Y. The system will handle it automatically or they will deal with it at the airport.”

Anybody believe either of those will happen? EUA is finicky and fails if anything is out of the ordinary and the airport only works off the list. CO Insider, I’ll PM you the PNR if someone wants to look at it. My 16 year old daughter will survive a flight in the back, but if it was me, I’d be hacked if I lost my place in line for an upgrade because I helped CO out by taking a later flight.

Canceling a Reward icket gets an error message

Attempting to cancel an award ticket, logged in to co.com, I received this error message after I hit the confirm button. I had seat assignments in FC if it matters.

"! Your itinerary cannot be retrieved, since there are no flight segments. If you require assistance, please contact Continental Reservations."

Regards,
CLEHillBilly

This most likely means that your award has been cancelled. If you do not see the miles redeposited back into your account within a few hours, then call OnePass Service Center.

Searching Flight Status on CO.com home page is Case Sensitive

Using the CO.com home page flight status search using airport codes rather than flight number, I got this message when I searched using "iah" and "ewr" or "lga":
Continental.com could not find any available seats meeting your requirements. You may modify your search criteria, or call 1-800-300-1547 for assistance.

However, when I used the uppercase, the search worked fine.

Recent OP Account Activity Not Displayed

On the "Account Details" screen, the most recent OP mileage activity is not displayed. The most recent statement date only runs through 3/30/08. I know there has been activity b/c the OP miles earned from Chase CC have been updated into my mileage balance, but that activity is not shown.

I've had this - I believe this happens when the record is locked - during EUA processing (for the flight, not the individual), for example. Usually clears up (for me) within a minute or so.

Erronious Error message on Multiple Destinations

Trying to book:
EWR -> MCO
MCO -> CRP
On Multiple Destinations page

Accidently mistyped sometthing like:

EWR-> MCO
MCR -> CRP
and received the following error:

! Could not find an airport for crp. Please enter a new city, airport, or airport code.

I think I would have heard if my home airport had been wiped off the face of the earth.

I suspect the error should have read:

! Neither Continental nor its codeshare partners serve Melchor De Mencos GT (MCR) using a Continental flight number. You may modify your search criteria, or call 1-800-300-1547 for assistance.

I was messing around last night and saw the same error for SVO. If I put in "Moscow" it worked, but "SVO" or "Moscow-Sheremetyevo, Russia (SVO)" and it did not.

Same here. OPSC is aware of this problem as I called them and asked what is going on. They said they discovered the problem last Friday and are working to resolve it. Maybe CO Insider knows when this will be fixed. Basically, you are not able to view your non airline activity for the past several weeks or so, as I understand it. Also, the home page (yellow box on the right hand side of the page) shows your total mileage balance (if you are logged in). However, when you click View Account Details, it takes you to the Details page which only shows your total mileage balance minus all the partner activity.

This has been an ongoing problem for me as well. I also tried to book a reward ticket to KBP and SVO and if you input the three letter airport code into the To: field, it displays the same message. However, if you type the city name, it recognizes it.

I have a ticket that I had to cancel, which i'm trying to use to book a BF ticket to DUB.

Even if I select 'First/BusinessFirst' during the search process from the 'Change Flights' option in that res, it still prices out economy. I know there's availability, because I can go book a new res for the dates with no problems.

Co.com appears down at this time - had trouble logging on, and now I can't search for flights -

We're sorry, but continental.com was unable to complete your request due to a technical problem.
Please try later or call 1-800-300-1547 for assistance.

I hope someone is going to fix this soon!
